I really liked Ghoulia's relationship with Cleo. She could see past her friend's resentment of the 'new girl' Frankie and was supportive even when Cleo wasn't always at her best or in the right. So if they do this thing right and bring back Ghoulia, I hope Cleo comes back too.
One of my favorite websodes is the one Cleo gives Ghoulia the super rare comic she wanted but couldn't get ❤️
Ghoulia is amazing. Not only is she a good friend to Cleo, but an amazing representation of Aspergers Syndrome. With her Aspie traits I love how it is subtle and her friends accept her for her differences without ever bringing it up or treating her as less capable for it. And I loved how she was an academic genius, had a special interest/comfort character (dead fast), and never confirmed to Neurotypical standards of normal and would always be herself. Out of all animated characters with Autism, I still feel that she had the best representation and that is part of the reason I love MH. And other characters having subtle neurological differences (Nefera clearly being a narcissist, Twyla having social anxiety, etc), is genius. It's really a shame MH is so niche. More people should know about Ghoulia.
She also can be just general autistic, don’t need to use the outdated term “Aspergers”

Ghoulia rules. I loved the way they had her eyes blinking one at a time, then every now and then one got stuck, brilliant. Her face sculpt is gorgeous. I’ve only repainted one Ghoulia, and I kept her as herself, but Sassy lol.

I wish I had bought more Monster High stuff when it was out. The original dolls, not the reboot ones, but the reboot dolls kind of grew on me. Except that the high school kids act like later elementary or middle school kids. Anyway, I miss Toys R Us especially because even though they were more pricey than Wal-Mart or Target they always had more dolls and also the newer dolls. 😭

I hope they bring back Abbey! Her face sculpt and the beautiful sparkly blue skin tone was beyond pretty. BUT I think it'd be cool if they made her taller or worked in some of the body diversity they've worked into Barbie. It'd be so cool if done right. Also I'd love to see more of the werecat twins if they kept up with a alt fashion similar to punk, goth etc. Just. I got fashion scarahs jacket and freaky fusion hers shirt... Oh when I say that those pieces are some of my favorite I'm not kidding and I'd love to see that material in other pieces. SIGH I can dream.

She was one of my favourite characters as well I really enjoyed the course six I thought that they were all so great in representing different countries and cultures and I’d love to see them return, along with Spectra, Venus, Rochelle and Rebecca if possible, but I’ll be happy if we just get the core six originals And the new reboot.

Out of all my mh dolls the only one I have left that survived is Dead Tired Ghoulia and I’m happy it was her, it’s so hard to put into words how important she is, she’s just one of a kind.
I've really grown to love Ghoulia recently. Her face sculpt is stunning! Now I just wish she was a bit easier to find in good condition, for not too expensive, on eBay!

Ghoulia was my favorite character from MH from the moment I saw the dolls for her hair color, the face sculp, and overall aesthetic. I didn’t saw the animated series for a very long time, almost until everything was over, and I mean everything even the reboot but wen I saw it I fell even more in love with her and started a search for all the ghoulias. I really hope she’d be part of the 2022 reboot.
Love the t-shirt! The thing about that Ghoulia didn’t get a new outfit, was because I don’t think Ghoulia was selling that well (a shame) and Clawdeen also kept her schools out outfit. Also, to me Ghoulia and Cleo could be a couple, for they are very close and I think it would be good representation for both communities

Thank you for your in depth description as to why you love Ghoulia. I have a sister with unique needs and it NEVER occurred to me that Ghoulia represented that. Thank you for drawing my attention to that detail. New found respect for this character.
Something that’s so cool with the scooter and what you were saying about her muscle control and body dexterity is that people use scooters like that as mobility aids!!

You talking about Ghoulia representing someone who is differently abled made me realize that her scooter could technically qualify as/be representative of a mobility aid, which could be another reason she gets not just upset, but genuinely distressed when the werecats steal it in that one episode.
As soon as you started clearing your throat after saying someone wanted to say hi, I immediately said, "Iris!" It's been so long, I'm glad she's still around and kicking.

I missed Monster High so thank you so much for sharing why you see you & your family in them. Frozen was the first time I saw myself as a disabled person. I relate to how Elsa is locked away & trying to just get through the day while dealing with a condition she was born with. "Do you wanna be a snowman" still brings tears to my eyes as I relate to not being able to play with my little sister when I was sick. I really like how she discovers that while her condition has many downsides she can still do wonderful things.
Thanks for advocating for the return of the authentic Ghoulia. I also have and love the "Love's Not Dead" set, my Ghoulia is still in box with Slo Mo so she still has her glasses on. I also want my other fave doll to return as her authentic self, and that would be Abbey Bominable.❤

I really appreciate your point of view about Ghoulia, it’s cool to have that sort of representation. Ghoulia technically is disabled and she can do so much. She can be fashionable, confident and smart and I had never saw her in this way. Now I definitely want Ghoulia in the reboot 😅😊

I was not in the doll world when monster high dolls were at their height. I never knew about Goulia but I love your description of her and I'm glad that a character like that existed.

I came way late to the Monster high game and never got into the animated series/movies/shorts so I had no idea Ghoulia was that groundbreaking or amazing. Thank you for letting me know! It'd be awesome as heck if she's one of the dolls they bring back. The world needs more differently abled characters of every form. Dolls included.

I'm autistic and Ghoulia was always my favorite!! I'm 20 now but I really related to her back then because she didn't talk. I had a hard time socially and my best friend was also a selective mute due to anxiety. She is such great representation.
Absolutely love all your Ghoulia dolls, I don't think there was a Ghoulia doll I didn't like. She was also my favourite Monster High character and dolls and really hope she gets included in the new upcoming MH series and doll line. Scooter Ghoulia was also one of my favourite versions of her and also Dead Tired Ghoulia which was my first doll of her, and Sweet Screams Ghoulia. Love them all. And will definitely check out the Hannah Gadsby series on Netflix as I haven't watched it yet. Also love your clawsome Ghoulia shirt 😍♥️

I haven't seen any of the movies and only started collecting the dolls this year so I don't have a lot of context for the characters beyond the animated shorts (which I binged a few months back). That said I wouldn't mind seeing both Ghoulia (who is one of my favs) and Moanica. I feel like it would be good to see more of all of the monster types that aren't blood relatives of the other characters. Also begging them to give me more Skelita...
