i love this show so much, i think its humor is some most people can appreciate. it starts pretty strong but gets even better as it goes along, the later seasons are great. hopefully you find some success with this one!

To answer your question: Yes, in this world, a blue cat gave birth to a pink rabbit. Even though they're different species, Gumball is Richard's biological son and Anais is Nicole's biological daughter. It's also worth mentioning that Richard's father is a rat. The fish, Darwin, started out as an adopted pet, but with the power of friendship, he grew lungs and legs.

Season 1 kinda sucks, Season 2 is decent-good, 3 is good, 4-6 is peak with some mediocrity here and there.
I disagree with Season 1 sucking, it's just that now that we have newer seasons to compare it to, it doesn't seem as good as it could be. If you're going in with no context like he is, I'd say it's pretty solid
