7:01 對, Lao Pa Sat是"老市場"的意思. Pa Sat 是由馬來文"Pasar"翻譯過來的福建話的句子. 漢字是"巴剎", 但是現在納入新加坡華語.
我其實知道新加坡和馬來西亞華語. 所以, 對我來說非常親切感.......

新加坡啥都好，就是太贵了，老感觉被宰。我在新加坡的日子从来都不去餐馆吃饭。建议去后港路和实龙岗路交叉口的咖啡店美丰鸡饭吃他家的烧鸡。全岛最棒；还便宜。
一般说星国好的，多数是有钱人。
If Indonesian work at Singapore 赚几十倍，可是为什么 Batam 人不要大量去 Singapore 做工 lei ?
这可能要等batam人自己回答😅 有三倍以上，不过应该没有到几十倍啦
@@GThinks karena biaya hidup di Indonesia lebih murah, dan Batam juga merupakan kota industri dengan gaji yang layak, biaya hidup di Batam tidak semahal di Jakarta. Saya kuliah 2 tahun di SG, HDB saya sempit dan kecil harganya 1.100 SGD di Jurong, di Jakarta sewa Apartmen saya seharga 300 SGD dan sudah sangat mewah dan luas
Actually a lot of Batam people do go to Singapore to work (and study) if they are able. At least this is in my personal experience. I don't know how far back you want to consider, but many Batam people even moved to Singapore since before independence. For modern day, keep in mind two things; 1) Singapore is a very competitive place to work, and it's only getting more demanding by the day. There is not much if any special treatment given to Batam people looking for work in Singapore. 2) Batam's original population is very small. Much of Batam's population today are 1st-2nd generation transmigrants from neighbouring islands (e.g. Bintan, Karimun, Bengkalis), Kalimantan, Java, Sumatra, etc. Hence the multigenerational Batam people are rarely seen locally, and even less so in Singapore.
