The Three Doctors who deserved better.
Definitely.
Something’s extremely cool about seeing Chris alongside the classic Doctors.
Out of all the NuWho doctors Chris feels the most like the classic doctors. (Capaldi is very close)
Chris seems so much happier now, so happy to see it.
Chris was a great doctor
A fantastic doctor
still is cmon
They are all fantastic.
@@illyanarasputin4196 😅😅😅😅 Fantastic indeed
Still is! On the big finish audio dramas
Nice to see Eccleston with McGann, Baker and Bryant. Hard to believe it's been 19 years since his Doctor Who season.
He needs to come back for the 20th anniversary of New Who.
Totally - when Chris was cast it had been around 19 years since Colin was playing The Doctor, that blows my mind.
@@c0mpu73rguy Sack Russell T Davies and it might happen.
Colin Baker's 81!! Good grief! And Nicola Bryant hasn't aged 😲
And Paul McGann is 64
She has if you look closely.
@@farmbroughthat’s not nice to say
Colin’s a brilliant Doctor. Love him
@@user-im8vv8di6k there's nothing wrong with looking 63 when you're 63.
Holy crap, surreal to see the wonderful Christopher doing a multi-Doctor panel.
WE OWE SO MUCH TO ECCLESTON.
Nicola looks gorgeous for her age. Aged like a fine wine.
Nice to see Chris interacting with Colin and Paul.
Interesting lineup of Doctors.
Chris - fell out with the production team within one series and maliciously smeared by the BBC who said he found the production schedule too tiring
Colin - put on hiatus and then fired by the BBC
Paul - a one and done Doctor in a US pilot that didn’t get optioned, not wanted by the BBC for a role in The Day of Doctor
And all of them Amazing
@@ikowski2947I’d like to have seen more episodes for all of them
@@AurumEtAeswe all would, we all would
@@ikowski2947 Actually one of them is fantastic.
Yeh, I never saw the point of bringing in John Hurt.
8th Doctor Weeping Angel story would be amazing.
9th Doctor Sontaran story would be amazing.
6th Doctor Slitheen episode would be amazing.
And an episode with Peri/6 dealing with the Adipose would be amazing.
What stellar answers to that question
Well I have news for you! Big Finish have done two stories of the 8th Doctor fighting the Weeping Angels.
@@multiverseguy1239 ayyyy you got names so I can look em up?
@@Dubble77DDoom Coalition 4 and Connections
With the direction they've taken Peri lately, she could probably handle the Slitheen on her own! Though that would have to be a companion chronicles
I was so excited, that was my question :)
McGann’s voice is sooo delicious
With every day that passes my rage at what was done to Eccleston's career grows. He seems as content, friendly and as down to earth as ever though!
I can't believe next year will be my 20th anniversary since I watch my favourite and amazing doctor Christopher thank you to him bring me to this amazing show it helps me so much thank you 😊☺️
It's nice to see Chris being more chill when talking about Doctor Who
Nicola Bryant's answer about being in the TARDIS is so wonderful.
Its 2024. I'm watching a Doctor Who panel with Colin Baker, McGann and Ecclestone...what a world
32:50 this is why we love Chris, will ALWAYS keep it real
The host did a really great job. Kept a really great flow and brought some really great energy to bring out everyone's comfort in talking.
30:02 never thought I’d see Chris smile at a convention 😂
He smiles every time he gets paid.
@@thefonzkissthey're all there to get paid mate
@@lightningmcqueer95But Chris is very open about only being here for the money. The rest do it (at least in part) for the love of the franchise that they’re apart of.
@roguexxrenegade Didn't he skip out on conventions for the last 20 years just because he didn't want to take people's money for it? Now he's older and has to care for his family.
@@thefonzkiss Sorry to break this to you, but they're all there because they're getting paid. That isn't a criticism, but at the end of the day it's paid work for all of them. Obviously that's intertwined with a lot of love for the show, for the most part, and for the the fans, but it's still a day's paid work.
Thank you for putting this online
I can't express how happy it makes me to see Eccleston along with the rest of them. He got such a raw deal... I would have loved to see another season or 2 of his Doctor.
Absolutely delightful. Now bring them back to the new show, 1 season each
Thank you, this is great panel, listens, happy to see these 4 together❤
So weird to think Colin is the same age as Joe Biden. :D honestly never knew he was 41 when he took the role, he seemed much younger.
NYCC will never give us panels like this. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for this footage. I was there and this will be a great memory to keep
This seems like the guests for my ideal Doctor Who dinner party! All awesome. Just add Janet Fielding and we’re off! Thanks for uploading this! 😁
I was waiting for this team up! Best of ALL worlds right here!
Such a joy to see these people together, reminiscing and just enjoying each other's company.
Ninth Doctor in Motown would be amazing. Big Finish get on to it!
The Ninth Doctor meets the Queen of Soul - now that would be worth seeing (or hearing).
Christopher Eccleston is my favourite Doctor , he is FANTASTIC!
Please please , do one more episode.
Fantastic to see everyone together .
this was great! have to say tho it was a weird question to end it with as it kinda soured the mood a little bit. but other than that it was so cool to see these four together like this :)
Imagine a 3 doctor collab / multi-doctor story with these three in it for big finish? How cool would that be!?
11:22 Colin probably expected the audience (or at least Chris) to say "Raxacoricofallapatorians"... "Slitheen" is only the name of that one family encountered in "World War III".
To be fair, we don't know if other Raxacoricofallapatorians would even be considered monsters. The Slitheen family may have been outliers among their people, since we never met any others. And they may have been the only ones stealing and wearing skins, so the whole farty gimmick may have also been specific to the Slitheen.
The Slitheen were the monsters.
@@tomimpalayeah but Slitheen was their family name
Thank you for this!
This is a wonderful pannel!
15:58 Doctor Kenobi
I think this is the first time I've seen Eccleston partake in a panel with other Doctors, this is so lovely.
What a panel😂 and I'm in the US 😂what great and appreciative actors ❤️
wow seeing Chris with other Doctors for the First Time is amazing
From the thumbnail, this looked like the support group from the end of Power of the Doctor, ex-companions in a hall
21:50 Christopher Eccleston accepted the role of Doctor Who because he wanted to create something for children. Hear hear! I was much influenced by Who as a child in the 1970s.
I wish we could see those asking the questions too!
Thank you!
This is great!
What a panel ... I would seriously love to meet stars of Doctor Who even if it were just like this and get to ask them any burning questions I might have
Colin: "Spent" he reminds him. He's such a great down to earth grandpa.
This was a great panel!
I would probably physically die if these three doctors showed up on screen together in the main show. Yes I know how impossible it seems, which is why I would die.
Paul McGann reminds me of Dominic Keating from Star Trek: Enterprise. I think Nicola, Paul and Colin could easily feature in the new era Who in cameos, as Bonnie Langford and Elisabeth Sladen have done in the past. Bring back a classic companion for a full season like Peri or Mel.
Paul McGann and Richard E Grant, in Withnail and I... great film, watch it!
omg...finally 8 meets 9
Paul McGann just doesnt age
I love how angry and salty Chris is
I know hes against multi doctor stories but id kill for a 8th and 9th doctor story
We did get the novel ‘All Flesh is Grass,’ which had 8, 9 and 10 together, though 9 gets sick of 8 and 10’s bickering almost immediately, and just dips out to do his own side quest for most of the book. Peak 9th Doctor behaviour if I’m honest.
Really hope eventually like David Tennant that Paul comes back as the 16th doctor that would be awesome the ratings would sky rocket
I've said that since tenant was 10.
"Why can't Mcgann be next, I can't see why the same face wouldn't appear "
4 legends in 1 group absolutely love them I even meet Colin baker
Excellent!
Christopher truly is such a wonderful man
Are any of the panels from Telford going to be added to the channel?
He managed not to say "Keith Boak " LOL He's mellowing!
Excellent interview Colin Baker and Nicola and Paul McGann and Chris Eccleston; Colin Baker as the sixth Doctor 1984-1987 whines adventure’s carry on into big finish audio company Doctor Who adventures right to his regeneration episode set in 1987; and Paul McGann acted as the Eighth Doctor 1996-2001 his adventures yes started in the Doctor Who TV Movie May 1996 but continued in BBC books and audios and Doctor Who magazines comics and Big Finish audio adventures right to Night of the Doctor with his regeneration into the Warrior (the time war doctor) acted by Sir John Hurt who regeneration was into the Ninth Doctor in 2005 acted by Chris Eccleston 😁👍🏻
Never thought I'd hear Paul McGann tell the Sharp story.
lol it's so weird that the host randomly brought up my hometown
Monopoly Events and its suspension of a voluntary strike off. It’s a good read at Companies House.
21:41 well dang he pulled it off
I want to visit TARDISland
2 of the best big finish doctors and the best single season doc ever.
BBC death squad walking in @ 7:19
Nicola looking good for 63 years old. Is she single 😉
15:55
Chris' face drops
Colin turns in surprise: "Pardon?"
McGann: "Hello there."
Doctor Kenobi
This is how each of their Doctors would react to that line as well!
In another lifetime we could have had the Eighth Doctor (Paul McGann) regenerated properly into the Ninth Doctor (Christopher Eccleston) no disrespect to John Hurt great actor but they still should never had retconned in another Doctor because now its screwed up the whole numbering tradition.
I don't think it matters now the hole numbering thing looks like it's getting thrown out the window.
But it was such a good opportunity to get Paul to do another episode.
LOL, if that were only the biggest problem / screw up with Doctor Who now.
7:48 meanwhile all three doctors fail to notice the Android astronaut invader leaving the building
Legends!
I started watching doctor who from 1972
6:25 - wouldn't it be 4 Scots. McCoy, Tennant, Capaldi, Gatwa.
You forgot Tennant, and Tennant again.
Gatwa? You can’t be serious. His series had the worst ratings in the show’s history.
@@xxxthestuffxxxNot since he sold out to the Woke garbage.
@holden190 it always was going to with the state of television at the moment, and even then it was the top show of that day for about three weeks in a row.
Gatwa is Rwandan.
Paul sounds like he's acting a monologues with everything he says, he's fantastic
Great answer Colin preventing the orange monsters parents from meeting would solve tons of international and domestic issues...
Chris adding Peter Davison to his grudge pile…!
Not that surprising though.
What do you think happened there?
@@bevenstarlowDunno. Maybe it’s all to do with DT coming in and his long-term working relationship with RTD?
Jon Pertwee was my favourite but on audio it’s Paul Mcgann
I'm in this vid🎉
At 20:20
Lucky!
42:38 correct answers all round.
Why do the audience always ask the most generic questions 😂
Poor management by the event. The better system is to collect questions before the panel starts and to pick those which will elicit the most entertaining answers from the panel members.
Please post jodie whittaker mandip gill panel from Midlands comic con
Colins, a legend, made me laugh so many times in this. Great guy.
I don't really know what to say with Chris. Hee was my favourite doctor in the series but disappointed that he stubbornly refused to come back ,even for a special or guest appearance.
I believe he has very good reasons for his stance. He is a very principled person.
Colin is the only one who knows that a 'band' means more than one person.
I know his fans are rabid, but you can tell Chris never wants to be there in any panel he's ever attended. When asked about favorites Doctors, he's never mentioned anything about their performance, just that they're a woman or black and gay. Which I'm a 1000% for representation, but it makes it clear that Chris only cares about his politics and not the show. Does anyone actually believe he thinks Michelle Obama would play the Doctor? Does anyone actually believe Aretha Franklin is his favorite artist?
It's funny how his answer of why he took the role has changed from because RTD wrote it, to money.
The thing about the actors who played the Doctor is their love and dedication that far outlasts their run. Chris has never and will never have that, so he will always be one of my least favorite Doctors, even though his performance was fantastic.
Surrey seems to be the hardest word. Nice Mr McGann. Reference Elton John, Sorry seems to be the hardest word. It's a sad sad situation, and it's getting more absurd.
I have a theory that the regenerations are out of order.
Pauls TARDIS was best looking.
I'd choose Harrison Ford if I had the power to choose the next doctor without the actor's consent lol. But I guess I would have wanted more of the Indianna persona from all of his characters. Or maybe Krammer from Seinfeld just because it'd be really funny to see his charisma. And you know it'd be funny every time he exits the tardis door with his theatrical body jerks.
and I'd want Episode two to have Mrs Buckette "Not Bucket. It's pronounced Boo-que" from keeping up appearances. She'd play a good villian. Like an evil Mrs Doubtfire.
Colin baker is wrong he said back in 1983 no one had VCRs then but we had a VCRs recorder in 1983 and still to this time and date I still have my recordings
He said he was watching the first episode (which was in 1963) - he's just fumbled the date. Maybe because his first appearance in DW was in 1983. Also in 1963 he would be the right age to be studying law at university.
I agree with Nikola.
I don't have a favourite.
Wonderful panel but what an annoying compère.
Yea was annoying he was answering his own question. Also the dumb game at the end was stupid don’t no if that was the company he was working for.
These guys need to understand that the role of an MC is to MC, not make it all about themselves. It’s not their show. Make the others shine.
Heroes. 🙂
Seville Sontarans aka Baked Potatoes
Funny. Didn't Eccleston say he didn't like doing multi Doctor stuff?? Lol😂
