Country with no regulation on what is imported or why, a country which does not invest on its farmers or education to make her people better, farmers are inherently bound to purchase poison for fertilizer. How do they know that the composition of the imported fertilizer(s) as explained is what it is claimed to contain? Kenya had the world's best soils for agriculture for a very long time, even without the need for fertilizer...because most of the fertilizer in use at the time was compost which is natural. Soils in Kenya refurbished themselves year in year out, harvest after harvest as long as compost was left with and on the soil. Why do the west use fertilizer? The rest of the world out there are not so fortunate to have the type of soil found in Kenya hence their over-reliance on fertilizer to grow their crops... but end up dying more often from a variety of cancers and such. Education is power. When Kenya imports fertilizer, that fertilizer destroys the soil which for generations has been naturally fertile on its own. Now those same cancers are in Kenya, yields are lower, food becomes expensive hence cost of living remains impossible for the masses. Some cows masquerading as vice presidents and members of parliament and ministers in government, reap their harvest by importing finished food products and feel proud about this, meanwhile...Kenya, known for settling on everything substandard, because the optics and theartics got to look right like the west... is still hungry and sick... Look and listen to video and audio quality of this NTV clip, it sounds as though it were recorded on styrofoam discs ...it is of abject poor quality, but NTV find it okay to post it on youtube... again...settling for the substandard.
