Dude, George tells that manager at the mike your fired and the manager says you haven't hired me yet. Loved his reasoning why he invested so much into team because fans invested in team. Also, his charity philosophy.
Steinbrenner is a great leader to turnaround a sinking ship going in the wrong direction. The problem is when they began to win, his over-the-top style would sooner or later undermine their rise. This is when he needed to dial it back and be like the laid back owner he said he originally would.
I couldn't keep up with the erratic super shorts compilation. Steinbrenner was fairly consistent. Also I wonder how far Steinbrenner's foot went through a cathode ray tv screen.
Greatest owner of all-time. When George Steinbrenner died, so did the New York Yankees. His son, Hal, is an absolute disgrace, as the Yankees are now all about being mediocre. Nobody is held accountable for their pathetic, losing ways. God bless you, George Steinbrenner, this is one Yankee fan who always loved you. You are sorely missed, by us Yankee fans, who put winning above all else.
Steinbrenner’s passing, his “appearance” on Seinfeld, and his almost comical orneriness have obscured what a deplorable and toxic owner he was. And like the Yankees of today, he oversaw teams that were overpaid and underperformed.

Excellent stuff.
If it weren't for Gene Michael, you never would've heard of Bernie Williams.
Or Derek Jeter, Mariano Riveria, Possada or Peitte
@@conservativeguy9329Try the last 3 names again
Or Skeeter McGee.
