do i see Patrick Barkley in the sax section? That is one STACKED performance!!!!
pretty sure you also got russell hall on bass and kyle poole on drums
Amen to hard swingin' !!
kyle poole on drums, russel hall on bass and patrick barley on sax is crazy
You keep uploading the solos I used to watch religiously in high school. Thanks dude! Although I mostly watched the version of this that Wynton did in the 90s
I love this style of simple jazz! Not really a big fan of modern jazz. Maybe because i came from classical music into jazz 3 years ago.
@@AlexeyStepin I'm the same way. I like the simple but intricate melodies, interesting chord changes, etc of old school jazz. Pretty much swing, bossa nova, and up to hard bop era. Modern jazz feels too unengaging and "outer space" to me. Thanks again!
That sax section sounds beautiful
Patrick Bartley is doing he's job perfectly)
completly amazing!!!
Is the mic at the gentleman with black suit too close (loud) or seems to sound gravel like? I don’t think he does that
No I think that it is him. It doesn't happen when he's playing higher notes. So unless it's just a problem with certain frequency it's probably just he's growling and it's really hard to growl high notes. (You try gurgling while blowing a raspberry while keeping your lips as tight as possible.)
I think he just has a super sizzely tone
it’s on purpose. louis armstrong played like that
