Day 2 Animal Kingdom- Things Didn't Go As We Hoped | Sir Willow's Park Tales

Our second day was Animal Kingdom. We were looking forward to this- saying goodbye to Dinosaur, riding Everest and Flight of Passage and so much more. But then things went a bit wrong and didn't work out like we were expecting them too...
A behind the scenes look at what a former worker at Disney World, Silver Dollar City, and Busch Gardens Florida experienced in his time working at the parks. From driving large safari trucks around live wild animals while cracking one silly joke after another, to spending 5 years as a #PhotoPass photographer at #WaltDisneyWorld and seeing and experiencing all sorts of things, to being a conductor and #trainrobber on the famous Frisco Silver Dollar Line at #SilverDollarCity. With 10 years of working in the parks, there's lots of stories to tell. Here is some of them...

Hopefully Amber was better later. Last year we went to California. Disney and universal. My 12 year old had several days where she had stomach aches (we think it was anxiety induced), and I'd sit for hours in the parking garage with her while the rest of the family went in. We missed a fair amount! But you do what you gotta do!

Shes' doing better now. Still working with docs to try to figure out exactly what is going on, but she's getting there.

There's a great series of books called Dinotopia that would be the perfect replacement for Dinoland. It's a fantasy series about humans & dinos coexisting peacefully in a symbiotic society (so perfect for AK). I realize the rumours are Indiana Jones & Encanto replacing it but it would be a pity to lose the dinos.

why is he in a wheel chair

Must be relatively new. Welcome! I have a couple of health issues that if I walk longer distances can cause an asthma like reaction (it's a different thing), so the chair is there to help make sure that doesn't happen. Shorter distances or slow walking aren't a problem, but all day at a Disney park could become a major one.
