Exactly. The people that are so fixated on the interest rate are the same people asking "how much can I get?" (Aka house poor people that shouldn't be buying a house). The people fixated on the price of the house are the same people asking "how much of a deal can I get?" (Aka the patient people that should be the only ones buying a house right now).

I agree. Many are wanting rates go do down but that would put upward pressure on price. Interest rates unfortunallty have a huge impact on price.
