    Successful people do what they have to do whether they feel like it or not... They shut their brain off and do it.. You dont think about it... You just know that its something that has to be done.. Just like you BREATHE, you train.. Its just a part of your being. Its who you are its what you do. It doesnt matter how tired you are, we ALL have busy lives. We all have lots of things to do.. You're a student, You got tests to take, homework to do. You're a father, you got children to take care of. You work, you got a boss to answer to. All of our lives are FULL, we all have plenty of things to do. It doesnt matter how tired you are, it doesnt matter how beat down your body is, it doesnt matter how mentally, physically or spiritually drained you are. You dont think about it. You just show up. 99% of the game is won when you just. Show. Up. You make it a habit. The minute you stop and consider, the minute you try to make an excuse, the minute you have a valid rationalization as to why you shouldnt train that day, why you cant make it out... You've lost the game.. Sometimes you're tired.. It doesnt matter. Theirs no time for tired. Sleep when you're dead... Sleep is the cousin of death..

    everyone has their own morning routine.... mine is; wake up, do a few pushups or situps, drink 2 glasses of water, shower, brush my teeth and finish it of by watching this one particular video. just gets me so pumped to start my new day... altho another shitty day at the same shitty job is all that awaits me, i just cant wait to finish it of, go to the gym and beast the weights. no excuses. people at work ask me: how do you do it? my answer is; i have no choise. like a lion that hunts for food, i just dont think about it. i just know it must be done. no matter what. do you think tired was even a thing when the human race had to hunt and kill every day to survive? no. get it done. i dont care how, just be a damn lion and HUNT.

    Funny thing is.....I spent 30 minutes looking for a video to motivate me to go to the gym yesterday and they were all terrible. Woke up this morning tired getting ready for legs day and this was the first video I saw on youtube finishing up my breakfast. Exactly what I was looking for. Not a montage of body builders to played out music, but a personal look into a lifestyle I can relate to. Something that motivates me to overcome common obstacles we all share. Thanks man going to hit legs, and also reminded to get some audio books instead of flipping from channel to channel on the radio. Peace

    Pretty powerful video you got here. I recently graduated High School. People told me I would HAVE to stop lifting once I got out of school because I would have a job. I got a job, I build furniture there and what not. Sometimes I have to lift heavy as shit and sometimes I don't and get out of work without sweating once. Either way, I still go to the gym, why? • @Alberturkey54
      @Alberturkey54 9 років тому

      Would u recommend changing? I go to sleep about 12:00pm - 1:00am and get up around 9:30am.

      I know I'd be so much more productive between the hours of 4:30am-7:30am than between 9pm-12pm. But what do u do if u have a bad night sleep? Do u still get up 5:30am? Cause if u sleep in till say 10:30 then ur fucked, u won't be able to get to sleep at 9pm. How do u do it man, ur an inspiration.

    • @Shikunisai
      @Shikunisai 9 років тому +1

      Well, unless you're adolescent it's biologically harder to sleep before12 midnight and you need ATLEAST 8 and a half hours of sleep, which is why public school schedules are fucking stupid. If you're an adult, it's easier to sleep earlier and you don't need as much sleep. Once you get used to waking up early you won't feel groggy and you will be a lot more productive.

      Alberturkey54 When you create a good sleep habit you will rarely have bad nights. But 1 bad night is easy to deal with if it's just 1/20. Habit is the key. You have to go to bed at the same time everyday, regardless of weekends.

    I know that Elliot's main aim was to inspire young men to exceed their limits and become the best version of themselves, but honestly along the way he has inspired many women such as myself as well. Every time i wanna give up, i watch Elliot's videos and also read the bible. The combination of these two is giving both spiritual and psychological healing. Also, by Elliot doing these videos I am learning at a young age about what I would like in a potential spouse (in terms of strength and confidence). So many guys out here act like idiots or so called jerks but i think its mainly because most of them are feeling lost just like how many of us have felt at one time/ are feeling now. Elliot, you are beyond inspirational, My motto this year has been to do things i'm scared of and 'fuck it up completely' as you said..... so far so good, I am getting more opportunities than I have ever gotten before in the industry that i want to go into.

    I just want to say thank you for PERSONALLY making sure your kids exercise, and they appear to enjoy it too. Too many parents sit their kids in front of their TV and hand them a poptart to shut them up for a few hours. You get a lot of positive messages about your physique, and your intelligence, and your ability to inspire, but I don't hear much about your parenting, so here you go: Thank you for being a great parent. Your kids will thank you for it if they haven't already.
