- This video teaches you how to make a beautiful junk journal with a box envelope cover.
This tutorial is made by Tina Guilbert with our "Explorer's Notebook" kit.
Of course you can use other papers to make this craft project as well.
And you can use these printables for an infinite amount of other crafts as well, like many of our other tutorials.
Tina also used our Mini Folio Template, but it's included if you buy the Explorer's Notebook kit.

TOOLS & MATERIALS USED
✂ designs print on 110 gsm (or heavier) paper
✂ Mini Folio template vectoriadesigns.etsy.com/list... (included if you buy the Explorer's Notebook kit, all three versions) or draw your own shapes
✂ ink and ink blender (Tina uses Vintage Photo Distress Oxide)
✂ old book for the cover, approx 7 1/2 inch - 19.3 cm high so it fits the Mini Folio template or heavy weight chipboard (2mm or more)
✂ craft knife
✂ ruler
✂ heavy weight cardstock (2mm or more)
✂ packing tape
✂ sand paper or sanding block
✂ wet glue (Fabri Tac or other strong wet glue)
✂ kraft cardstock
✂ piece of fabric
✂ awl or hole punch
✂ needle and thread (embroidery thread is fine)
Optional
✂ Corner rounder punch
✂ miter tool
✂ strong flat magnets (neodymium)
✂ beeswax for embroidery thread

I had a cat that was a pen/pencil thief! Where she would keep her stash was never found, trust me I looked as some were special pens. I had this one women come in for something, can't remember now but there were forms I had to sign and forgot to tell her not to leave her pen unattended. Well, she did, and Shera never missing an opportunity to add to her collection, stole it. When the woman found it gone, she went ballistic on me. It was just the average Bic Pen, well used. I was shocked as I did offer her a brand new one and apologized explaining which she refused. She insisted I find it, which of course I never did find that one either. She stormed out the door and I got a call from her company over it! Theft of company property nonsense. LOL So yes, you could have a thief of crafting supplies hiding in your midst! So post warning signs I was told. LOL
My cat thieves everything! She loves crying supplies. Luckily, she sucks at hiding all the treasures. 😂

@@vectoriadesigns She's passed now. However people want me to put one on my boy cause he's so bad whenever you try to stream, he screams like he's being harmed. Or he does his famous thunder run, knocking over things in his way and bouncing off the walls LOL I took him because the people that had him were going to put him to sleep because he's so bad.
