Your translation was spot on. I love it how the older generations always lecture younger generations about how hard they had it and how easy we have it. I love seeing HK from a local perspective. My father grew up in Mong Kok and took us to HK 20 years ago. I’m sure it’s changed a lot since then.

Why would anybody watch Emily in Paris when they have vlogs this gorgeous, aspirational and inspirational to immerse themselves in? GORRRRRRGEOUS. Great work as usual Sam. I'm yet to trawl through your back catalogue and see if you've done a series on Singapore but I think I would need to watch whilst wearing a bike helmet for self-protection; I may faint and hit the deck with my overstimulated noggin. @@SamandVictor Thank god. I'll need a trigger warning so I can get my crash helmet in place. Second-rate vlogs shot poorly and edited without any sense of 'melody' and flow, anodyne, generic, uninspired and jarring like a bad mix tape (ie; by people with little to no artistic talent and an almost painfully generic aesthetic eye, if you will) still make me whinny like a horse and go 'oh my god' out loud when it comes to Singapore (I had no idea there was so much cool stuff there to do, and so much beauty) so I can only imagine how it will look through YOUR eyes once you work your magic for us all. I'll be watching, hoping and waiting patiently Sam & Vic! 🤩

Loved this vlog and again makes me miss HK so much. Maybe I’ll be back next year, it’s the longest I’ve ever been away! The noodle shop tour was great, I’ve seen them on a TV show and love how traditional they are with that bamboo stick thing! Loved how chatty he was 😂

Greetings from San Francisco! When someone makes something that is very delicious we say "You put your foot in it." Meaning they gave 100% and it showed. I've never known anyone to literally put their feet in their cooking until I saw him making his noodles. 😁
