I can relate to all your points. Travel enhances our life experiences in a profound way that’s unique to staying in our local comfort zone. Travel and living abroad has changed me in so many ways, like you say, that I can’t effectively articulate to others. Even people I know who travel a lot will often stay more in their comfort zone when traveling, whereas I like to socialize a lot, get to know people, share and learn. Thanks for your stellar content! 🙏

Travel does change you! Travel is actually the best education you can receive. I have found the more I traveled, the less I had in common with the people I grew up with. The change is real. I have embraced that, at the same time understood why others from home do not understand it. Also, you are correct - the food in other countries is more natural, I would always loose weight in other countries due to the fresh food. It's really impossible to get the same quality of food in Canada/USA. So glad you were able to go home for a bit and experience the accumulation of how you have changed thus far and look forward to seeing both of you continue your journey.:)

The change is real, it’s nice to meet/talk to people that understand it. It is going to take a bit to embrace though. This was my first time home so it seems strange but I’m sure I’ll get used it. I do love accumulating the knowledge. Thanks for continuously keeping up with the journey. 😃

Travelling is the best university of life. That's why I cannot stop travelling all over the world. However, the mentality of people is becoming standardised by SNS and UA-camrs. That's the big negative for trotting globally in the 21 century.

I find the food in Albania more flavorful. I mean the natural flavor of things. The food is fresher there and more organic, it does not travel for weeks like it does here in Canada, it does not have pesticides and hormones like it does here (at least not as much). I also find it satisfies you more and sooner and you do not need to eat as much. There is not as much variety, you have to go to the really high end supermarkets to find exotic fruits and vegetable but it is a good place to eat local and seasonal.

Totally agree! I found the variety not bad in Albania but when you come to Canada you have every culture of food you can imagine along with people being used to fruit and vegetables being trucked in so they are fine with fruit that isn’t as fresh but tons of options from all over the world! Can’t wait to get back to the fresh options, don’t want to gain too many pounds here 😂
