I remember in the old anime for Kirby, any time Meta Knight felt a strong emotion his eyes would change color for a brief flash. Perhaps a nod to that? Though they could be entirely unrelated and that would be believable. But it wouldn't be the first time the games have made reference to the anime. (Examples being buff Dedede, and Dedede having an army of exclusively Waddle Dees. I am pretty sure theres more examples I just can't remember though.)

Not really. Galacta wasn’t even summoned in Return to Dreamland. He just kinda appeared.
Galacta Knight is mostly a non-canon bonus boss. Clash, a game that takes place in a parallel dimension to the main series, is the only time he's appeared as a primary encounter. His lore is canon, but the characters fighting him isn't.
In fact, he's likely one of the four heroes who sealed Void Termina

The Legendary Nic Just shows you how damn powerful Galacta Knight really is. Star dream is a super computer created by the ancients of the Kirby universe with the knowledge and power to reactivate and control a NOVA ( not the Nova from super star ultra but a Nova) so you can assume it's made of some pretty strong metal/alloy and Parallel Nightmare is just... Parallel Nightmare(nuff said). Both of those kills come from one swing of his lance too.
Galacta Knight and Hyness were both one of the four heroes of heart who sealed away Void Termina he wouldn’t have attacked Hyness. The problem with Star Dream and Nightmare is they assumed Galacta Knight would’ve been willing to help them not knowing that Galacta Knight’s actually a good person. Notice how he didn’t attack Galactic Nova when he summoned GK? That’s because Galactic Nova isn’t inherently evil like Nightmare and Star Dream are.
Hyness and Galacta Knight have the same backstory and Corrupt Hyness summons Spears the same way that the Aeon Hero does.
Parallel Nightmare and Star Dream made the mistake of trying to summon and ally with this beastly warrior. Now they're dead.

The Void Termina lore scuttles this entirely. We now know that Kirby isn't the same species as Meta Knight and Galacta Knight. That said, it's implied through their Aeon Hero forms that Galacta was one of the four heroes who defeated Void in the ancient past, so perhaps Void was trying to mimic them when it reincarnated into Kirby?

@@flonbowe151 Not so. If we're taking the extra mode of Star Allies as canon then that means that Galacta Knight is still alive. In Forgotten Land, Forgo Soul gets absorbed by Morpho Knight before he transforms but once he's defeated, it's shown that Forgo escapes so when Morpho Knight is defeated, he most likely releases the souls he absorbed.

Not that I've played Kirby before, but if, at some point in the future, an encounter with Galacta Knight were to actually become canon, that would REALLY change the dynamics of the Kirby series as a whole. This warrior is a real force to be reckoned with, and trying to summon him is never a wise thing to do.

It's kinda funny in retrospect how he never broke out his Aeon Hero forms in the previous fights. Meta Knight wishes to fight the strongest warrior in the universe, and even when swinging around enough power to one-shot an AI god said warrior is _refusing_ to take him seriously.

Galacta Knight in Super Star Ultra was the coolest thing to me as a kid
When Galacta knight is sealed, there is the purple void, but when it closes, the Morpho knight colors spark for a second. So that leads me to beleieve that when Aeon hero was sealed for fear of his power, his body was trapped and became Galacta knight, and his dark power became the butterfly that has been following Kirby around. Likely because the kirby in Super clash is an ancestor to the kirby now. Now I don't know how it plays with the idea that kirby is a reincarnation of a Void Soul, but I dunno, just a thought.
I appreciate your good eye for the Morpho color spark, but if you paid closer attention, you'd notice that Morpho Knight's death aura was red-pink, whereas GK's was rainbow-colored. Good eye though.

I know the fanservice aspect of it but I love the entertain the thought that after Galacta Knight got released he was just wandering and chilling out until he faces Kirby again.
In Rtdl, he's retired to a distant planet and Kirby somehow encounters him.
In Robobot, he's used as a weapon.
In Star Allies, a butterfly possesses him and forces him to face Kirby.

It's funny how much sense it makes that Dedede was taken out during the RTDL fight, since previously in super star ultra both Kirby and Meta Knight proved they could take him down alone, and technically Dedede can whip out Galacta knight too since power balance usually doesn't occur to kirby that much.
Power levels in Kirby were never and probably will never be consistent. That's why using Kirby in vs. Battles is very unfair

But when Void termina was defeated he tried to free he’s old friend Aeon hero now named Galacta knight but Kirby friends defeated him and galacta was absorbed by the God of death Morpho knight (also defeated by Kirby friends)
And the portal to another dimension absorbed Hyness and sealing him in a jamba heart only to be freed by Kirby and defeated once more and Kirby accidentally with he’s warp star covered with positive jamba hearts des corrupted Hyness and the mage sisters and he learned to let the past in the past and forgive everyone for banish him
