Such a shame, such beautiful models and not a strip of asphalt for a proper scale landing and take off. That first take off was cause of runway being all uneven. Not pilot error. If he aborted it would of been catastrophic. Good move on continuing the take off.
That is standard in Germany - Grass runways for RC models!

With regards the 343 incident, he really should have aborted - he recovered well but the whole event was caused by pilot input - pilot-induced event without a doubt. It makes me wonder about proficiency which really should be a prerequisite when owing and operating such a big multi-engined jet - I am not making assumptions about this pilot's skill level but a proficient airliner driver should never encounter such a situation on a straightforward takeoff, perhaps it was an isolated event that could happen to anyone but it is a sad truth about our hobby that nowadays anyone with money can buy any size or complexity of model, no checks, no qualifications required, I met a youngster who brought a 1/4 scale jet fighter to the club who was learning about servo travel and what a clevis and horn is for the first time that day!
