Hot take, only mandos would be crazy enough to "hot drop" infantry into a starfighter battle, and skilled enough to expect to succeed at that tactic.
I’m excited about this one, I’ve picked up two fang fighters and the razorcrest. This will be a fine addition to my collection.

This is the first time I thought that a ship belonged in 40K instead of star wars. The ship's size is close to the Imperial gozanti, and that makes me wonder if this ship should have been on a huge base instead of a large base.

Got mine yesterday, it is pretty big and looks great. Love how the gang is basically a one man fighter of this.

If you get 2 then you can separate the cardboard bases. Probably won't get this until it's on sale due to storage limitations. Looks cool though.
I just got this ship is it’s awesome! I do feel it is lacking a bit on the republic side but I have dubbed it; The destroyer of dreams.

Really bummed they didn’t choose Maul’s color scheme as the default.
Good point about the credits still belonging to FFG. I wonder if the Cad Bane Rogue is finally going to show AMG development, or if they are still just doing FFG close out. Should speak to the longevity of the game.
Got mine on the 31st or I should say 2 of them on the 31st. it is amazing. Just got the Razor Crest today and laughed how much the Gauntlet dwarfs that ship. Can't wait to get these stupidly large ships dominating the battle field. Side note, the paint job on the two I got were kinda shoddy with some nasty blotches of black/grey paint.
This explains the price. Now I understand. Knowledge I have gained.

Why is it so huge though
The Pride of Mandalore card pack has at least one small base with another faction on the back - it’s annoying!

Thanks Crabbock for the video. I thought the Ghost was too big, and this Gauntlet "Fighter" is so big as to make a joke out of the entire line of large and epic ships. Another reason why I should start selling-off my X-Wing collection. I think it's time...
massive... but not the right size. I still would prefer an epic one.
honestly, at the price point it is, not spinning and having such low overall detail (just look at it next to the razor crest), I gotta say not impressed this time around
I was also bummed to find out that it didn't spin when I opened mine up. especially how most 2.0 figures had those types of improvements (like the b-wing).
You do realize that if the wings spun around the ship body, they would hit the base peg! it would require a custom "C" style peg with counter-weights to avoid having the ship fall over. That level of articulation would dramatically increase the price to over huge ship level. Not worth it in my opinion.

Too bad Gauntlets are trash in Armada. Needs some errata for sure
I really want them to be better/cheaper in armada!
Should have made the wings rotate, I would have paid the extra money.
Given the size, it seems like making it rotate while also having the wings turn upward should've been entirely possible.
