- 1st John Chapter 4 explained. God is love and if anyone testifies that Jesus is the son of God, He then dwells in them and they live in God.
We need to be aware of Gods love in us and that there is no fear in God. If we are afraid, then God has not made us perfect in love. This words are full of wisdom and every true believer shall abide by them.

I am comforted by this teaching Rabbi as I considered that the Holy Spirit was not with me in spite of my believing ....your explanation has shown me that it is my attitude toward others etc that has not allowed the Holy Spirit to be more active ....so I stand convicted and yet blessed at the same time.

How does this jive with the idea of fear of God is the beginning of wisdom..trying to not be confused
Hmmm. Are you asking how "There is no fear in love, perfect love casts out all fear" blends with "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom"? How these two verses don't contradict each other but rather actually how they can compliment each other? Is that what you're asking?

What is the Hebrew word for propitiation? Is it כפרה? Or is there a better word:
גאולה? פדות? הגאלות?

If you would like to receive Jesus as your Savior.
Realize that you are a hopeless sinner and trust in Jesus and only Jesus to save you.
You can say a prayer expressing your gratitude, sorrow for your sins, etc. the words don’t matter, but remember your prayer DOES NOT save you. Your trust in Jesus and what He did for you on the cross is what saves you.
The moment you trust in Jesus and only Jesus, you are sealed by the Holy Spirit and are saved forever.
Right on iDr Baruch you’re study reminds me of that if we do not forgive and what we judge by. Perfect love in this chapter of 1John has to do with the final juggement and not with anything we may do in God's name. It is about being saved.
When we are really saved and reconciled with God we don't experience the fear of condemnation that experience those who are not saved and reconciled with God.
This is how love is made complete among us so that we will have confidence on the day of judgment: In this world we are like Jesus. (1 John 4:17 NIV)
why do you call Jeshua the name Jeshum???????
The messiah's name is YESHUA.
