Hematuria can result from blood loss within either the urinary or reproductive tracts. It must be differentiated from other causes of discoloured urine including haemoglobinuria, myoglobinuria, and occasionally from drugs or chemicals that artefactually result in positive test results for blood on urine dipsticks. Occult hematuria refers to the presence of erythrocytes in the urine that are only evident on microscopy; gross hematuria refers to the situation when the quantity of blood in the urine is sufficient to be visible to the naked eye. I brought my thirteen-year-old husky mix into the Vet recently because she was leaking urine. They did a urine analysis, senior blood panel, and x-rays and everything came back normal. They put her on phenylpropanolamine for incontinence. Tonight, two weeks later, she urinated a puddle of blood. I had a Miniature Schnauzer that had to have an emergency bladder stone surgery. So I'm not taking any chances. I'm trying to get her in as soon as possible.

Hello doc. My 12 yr old female jack russell has this incontinence with blood, she was first diagnosed with a uti & received antibiotics for it, this has been going on almost 4 weeks and she still leaks urine and blood. They recently did a ultrasound and had to do a biopsy, still waiting on results. She runs has her appetite as normal as i know. But i wish i knew what the heck is going on with her. She is spayed and had a lipoma removed from her lower abdomen about 3 years ago. Could in time scar tissue develop from that lipoma removal and causing some kind abscess or growth making her have this issue.
how to stop the bleeding in urine my border colie bled a lot every time she pisses. The chinese vet gave some shots like vit k and etc to stop bleeding. But it didnot help and bleed more. It was diagnosed with tumor in blader.

My dog, a female spayed 11 year old pit has the same issue but it’s like chunks of blood, coagulated basically that come out and she leaks blood and pees uncontrollably. Taken her to the vet like ten times in three years for this. Bloodwork normal, xray no bladder stones, did ultrasound she’s been on ammoxocilin like three different times…it always stops while she’s on it and then comes back. Don’t want her suffering but the vets seem to find nothing…..

Dude my female dog is dropping droplets of blood and everytime I research about it all I'm getting is blood on the pee or blood on the poop and it's honestly getting annoying when I can't find nothing about it
Droplets of blood could be coming from the vulva from the rectum from the mouth from the nose from the tongue from wounds on the feet just to name some of the places that I've seen droplets of blood come from in 15 years. You need to be more specific for you to try and locate it. If it's happening that infrequently then maybe it's not a huge concern potential hard to say for certain though

i have a 5 year old pitbull and she is drinking so much water she pukes most of it back up and she pees a lot and she drinks it.
she isnt eating her energy is low and she has blood dripping out her stuff,blood in feces.
she is still a virgin.
we were feeding her dog chow.
i gave her some pumpkin for fiber she liked it but puked it back up.

I. Not sure what you are looking for. There is nothing that i cam recommend at home that would help this. So if aren't already going to the vet today that would be my recommendation.

My 15yr pitbull has done many rounds of antibiotics and can't afford vet he's been peeing straight blood and drips blood everywhere all day I dont know what to do 😢
The possibilities of a bladder stone a resistant infection or if he is not neutered he may have an abscess or cyst on his prostate that will not resolve without neutering

@@user-df7pe4zn9n it end up being kidney stones stuck in the pee canal, the vet gave him a anticoagulant shoot to stop the bleeding and meds for the pain, he is fine now.
Get it checked out fast if anyone sees this and has the same problem my dog needed surgery uterus removed and bladder stones

Blood in the urine can be caused by a number of things. The most things that I would dispense if a client does not want to perform tests are antibiotics and probiotics, and potentially something for the discomfort. That being I said recommend that you first go to your vet to have them help you figure out what is going on and then treat appropriately

Because she is inbred cross bred and line bred...you are correct to question the color because that isn't a normal color coat for an English bulldog

I have 3 yr old male pitbull who isn't neutered..he seems fine nose is cold n moist eats like a horse loves to play etc but I saw droplets of like pinkish color only like 4 and I saw little discharge coming from his penis area that's kinda yellowish but super thick almost like a human having infection..ANY suggestions on what this possibly be...I hoping NOTHING to serious..He's my best friend I do have appointment for him at my vets in couple days..just super concerned..
