One of my favorite scenarios in World of Tanks, or any video game for that matter, is when you are all alone on a flank which is collapsing. You are usually facing a superior number of enemies, are weakened, and trying to defend yourself as best as you can. You know you won't make it out. But perhaps, if you hold out long enough, it will give the friendly forces on the opposide side of the map a chance to recollect. So, you brawl with everything you've learned before. Angle, wiggle, put in snapshots, watch the minimap in the heat of the moment. There's no time to breathe. Sometimes, friends arrive in time to save you. Sometimes, you fall alone on the flank. But either way, you know you gave it your best and made the enemies sweat for it during your last stand. That Vladivostok, as it's been pointed out before me, has shown remarkable tenacity. He's paid the price, but let me tell you - when the remaining allies do arrive in time, it makes that victorious salvation so much sweeter. Ggs guys
an underrated feature of this game is was how much his heal and hydro recharge were sped up by his AA skill and the enemy team giving him plenty of ASW planes to shoot at.
The USS San Diego was one of the most decorated ships in WWII, and led the fleet into Tokyo harbor for the surrender. Only lost 2 sailors (or 3, can't remember) to combat and had over 6 battle stars (Participation in battles). Tough little ship!
i love when your new vid notif pops up right when i need something nice to fall asleep to :) love your voice and laugh, man the commentary is gentle on the ears but entertaining 10/10
Completely random comment.... for some reason, as Jingles was talking about strategy in the game, it made me think of iChase Gaming....... I miss the guy. I loved his videos. Anyone else remember him?
Howdy right back at you. It's fun to watch good player play a good game. Sea Raptor is a very good player playing a very good game. Lots of fun here to be had by all, unless you're on the enemy team. Treats and scritches as always. Stay warm and safe. 🐈🐈⬛👑✌️🖖
I can't tell you how many times I look at the ships alive on both teams in a game and I think to myself "Okay, we doing good so far." Then about a couple minutes pass and suddenly, "WTF, WHAT HAPPENED TO MY TEAM!?"
@@starflame34 It helps to use mods that show individual and team total health. Numbers can be decieving and disappear very fast. 5 ships on a sliver of health might be worth less than two almost full health ones. Although in the right conditions that sliver of health can be enough.
So many games where half the team has less than 400 base xp. More than a couple where a random game, losing side, looked like they WON a coop game. Several games where the the bottom 5 of my team has less than 350 base xp. Those are the people that rush in (because they are told they have to do that at some point) and die without doing a damn thing. Always "everyone else's fault" to boot.
That was a good video to watch and I definitely liked his name SeaRaptor he was smart and very talented and tactical when he plays great job on your win
Great video as always Jingles. Am currently using HMS Thunderer to train my Captain Jingles so he can be my best British captain. Once training is done the old man will take pride of place on the grand old lady HMS Warspite.
SeaRaptor is one of the most positive WoWs streamers out there. I mean that personality wise. He has reservations about the game, but seems to always have a great attitude towards life and players.
Hey Jingles, have you checked out a game called The Brew Barons? It's about flying planes in a Porco Rosso-esque world, fighting pirates, and brewing/selling your own drinks. Looks right up your alley
I was surprised that you would take the Tirpitz over the Monarch. With the Tirpitz chasing the Monarch, the Monarch always would have the advantage, just because the guns are more accurate at a distance and the Tirpitz secondary guns or torpedo's are out of range.
I thought about your Hero or Zero video. You'll have to go through to the end to find out, with someone. Sometimes thinking how to attack your own, defeats the enemy for you. GL!
It's been so long since I actually played that when you say that this ship is basically an Atlanta I automatically think, "Ah, so it's overpowered then.".
I like to call the Atlanta based ships oversized DDs with citadels. That's more or less what they are...they even have to drop depth charges like a DD rather than having the depth charge strike aircraft like most other cruisers.
One other Characteristic of the San Diageo Jingles is that San Diageo has better Shell Ballistics then her sister ships. You can even Citadel ships from further away then on the Atlanta or Flint. Also if Yuros recent video on the ship was anything to go buy, she was the Atlanta that got sunk in port in Azura Lane "MY SHIP!!!!!!" LOL.
The enemy Vladi didn't have his guns ready to go because he was too busy trying to use his ASW to get a bead on the Cruiser that he *already* *knew* was in the cap circle. I cannot help but recall a "discussion" with some Average Battleship Enjoyers who were certain that their ASW would somehow magically convince their opponents that they were under air attack and thus distract them long enough to score the killing blow.
I am genuinely confused by how often I see battleship players using their ASW planes in games with no subs. There are rare, corner situations where it will might provide you with some intel, yes. But the overwhelming majority of the time, it's like they don't actually know what those planes do.
Sea Raptor, ah, the one I voted for to be the Captain even over our salty gnome overlord. O, an extra shift on Saturday evening in the Salt mines. Thank you, sir!
San Diego shells are more comparable to 152mm shell ballistics. Flatter arcs, not floaty. Also, the SDs SAP does less damage than HE. It just penetrates more. It also has a slower reload than the Atlanta.
I was actually banking on this going into the engagement with the Vlad. I knew if I showed him flat broadside he probably couldn't citadel me... but if I angled even a little bit, the shells might have time to fuse.
ah yes the san diego, Azur Lane's no fly zone bote. Crazy thing about World of Warship's version of Sandy is it gets somewhat decent AA for a T8 cruiser but gets the best DFAA in the game. Something smells fishy here
We need more Zao with troll armor. Also iirc Zao has almost destroyer level torpedoes potential as much as they're kinda "retreat torpedoes". Unlike Atago.
It was about 2 years ago, I managed to get 6 kills out of 6 in ranked on DM, but still lose... The last kill was with ram on 300 HP left, but our team was behind on points... Still got 2.4k base XP
Gotta love how jingles thinks that wargaming gives a shit about how tough the Tirpitz is when everyone one and their mum just spams HE out of British battleships and makes any form of skill or ship stats pointless.

Look at the chat.. The team aknowledges and compliments SR's Vladivostok for surviving and holding on as long as he did. Awesome to see.
I also love that the WoWS community collectively talks about Jingles as if he is their CO. "I might send this one to the old man." :D
@@QemeH he sort of is. And i'm sure wargambling doesn't feel too fondly of that :D
The Vlad is the main reason we were able to get back into this game. He deserved (and got) a comp.

There's something so sentimentally satisfying about an heroic last stand.
