Alan Hull - Tynemouth Song

One of my favourite Alan Hull songs that just doesn't get shared and spoken of anywhere near enough. Released as part of the 1993 album "Sailing Home".

This is such a tearjerker for me. I have such fond memories of my great uncle Jacks hut and boat on Tynemouth beach as a child. He took me out once and I was sea sick within 200 meters, lol.
And working on my great uncle Jim’s allotment opposite the beach. He was like a grandad to me and I loved him so much. Oh what I’d give to have one day with him in Tynemouth with this song playing! ❤❤❤

Sweet very nice song, i use to spend time to hear lindisfarne play i have not heard this song before ty so much i own all of the Lindisfarne albums .

It wasn't on any Lindisfarne or Alan Hull solo album. It featured on a complication album from 1993 called Sailing Home that was released to raise funds for Swan Hunter shipyard. It was re-released in 2012.
