That Blue and Green color story is what I was hoping for from PMG. Color story is pretty, but the swatches look underwhelming. I’d like to see in person.
I didn't wear nail polish for a long time, that changed a few years ago when i discovered glass nail files (you can shape/shorten your nails very easy) , cuticle oil/cream, fast drying top coats and when i learned to use acetone + a cleanup brush for cleaning the cuticles of nail polish. Now making my own nails is a hobby, nail polish actually protects them and i have much longer and stronger nails then when i wasn't wearing nail polish.
@@ultraviolettas I use the Glisen & Glow Top Coat, it can be bought in 2 oz refil bottles and i do because i use a lot of it :) It does containe Tolune, i don't mind that but i am always having windows open for ventilation when i am doing my nails.
I'm usually a peachy or rose gold type girl with eye shadows but I have been loving greens recently. I got the Natasha Denona zendo palette for my birthday and I was using all the greens in there but now I want the Dior! Coral is my absolute favorite color so I want the blush too! Side note though, I have to say I am obsessed with the lip color you're wearing in this video! 😊💖
I love the blushes! I agree Dior’s limited edition shadow are hit or miss. I still haven’t used the one I got for holiday last year. Next time try your Sonia G brushes with the crease eye shadow. The natural hair brushes are supposedly better with baked gelee formulas. The Rephr brushes seemed to pick up the lid shades better than the blending brushes did.
When you said try it over a black base ! Yes! The look you did with the green from Viseart coy over black base was the most inspiring influencer makeup in a long time. I love that kind of video!!

When I ordered this collection from Dior, I noticed that there was an option to select the traditional box or a more 'environmentally friendly' option with less packaging. Like you, I love the Dior luxury presentation, so I selected the Dior Gift Box, but it is the first time that I noticed that I had to make a selection to get it.

I noticed the limited edition shadows with embossing does not perform as well as regular shadows. Loved the green palette but did not purchase because of embossing. Glad your review reinforced my opinion.

I’m thrilled that you picked up this collection, Morgan! I have been anticipating its release since I saw the sneak peek from Trendmood! I could only get one of the eyeshadow palettes, so I ordered the Night Bird palette, and I’m so glad I did! The colors in that palette are stunning, and they’re beautiful on you! I’m a sucker for iridescent and duochrome finishes, and this really fits the bill. I also ordered two of the nail polishes, but I picked up the other colors because I have green polishes and just don’t wear them much. I missed the blushes, so I’m considering going back and ordering one of them as well.
I ordered the Green palette, Coral blush and green nail polish. I usually skip designer nail polishes but like you I was drawn to that pretty duo chrome. I like how it looks green and sometimes gold on your nails! Can't wait to try this collection. I want to try their new vanilla perfume, vanilla is my favorite note in fragrances.I like the blue eye look you did. Great review!
I'm a weird girl. I have a hereditary syndrome where my nails are underdeveloped - I have absolutely 0 nail on my thumbs... I take great comfort that you aren't a beauty guru who has your nails always perfectly manicured. My hands have stopped me from starting my own channel cuz I'm so shy about people seeing them. So, I know that I'm in the minority, but thank you for being authentically you.
That coral shade is gorgeous. I have two of those Flower Beauty blush brushes. I originally ordered one and went back and ordered a second. It is the perfect size and Flower Beauty is consistent with running sales.

I used to love Dior shadows, but eliminated ALL of the ones I had a few years ago. Tried these at a friends house and hated the Collection!! While On one hand I love the way they look in the pan. Crazy, with all the money Dior has they can’t seem to keep a consistent formula. Drove me crazy!! Lol.

Have you tried the Dashing Diva Nail Strips? They work so well on me with another clear gel top coat and UV light, last for 2 weeks. The down side is they are hard to take off. I lift a corner of the sticker and soak my hands in hot water for 10 minutes before I get them off so my nails won't get hurt.
Will you do a second video with these pallets, with may be Mustard all over the lid and Red for some depth? Also other pallet over a black base as you suggested?? Thanks.
I think the first palette would work if you use the shades diagonally. Like the top left/middle/bottom right together and vice versa. It’s def 2 diff color stories
My last ship experience with Dior was the same; I didn't get the beautiful white box with bow :( I got the crinkles too. These two eye quints are on the their way to me still.
I went to the Dior boutique 2 days ago and saw this collection in person. Picked up the Night Bird straightaway (it was the one I was drawn to from the start). Early Bird was lovely, but nothing unique (I feel like I've seen this pink/burgundy/gold colour scheme many times over). The blushes underwhelmed me. The glitter particles in Nude Glide were very obvious, and the other coral one looked common. The pictures of the entire collection are STUNNING, but I think it's still advisable to see it in person (if you can), just so you know what to expect.
Thanks for the review. After watching I used stiffer brushes to apply early bird, and got a really nice look with good colour payoff. The embossing definitely won’t last long that way though :( xx

Nope defs do not throw it away it’s perfectly fine and completely safe to use. For powder products feel free to ignore the “shelf life” unless you feel the texture change or if it has a weird smell its fine.
Love the peach/coral blush, if I want glitter or sparkle I'll add it myself! The nude blush was ruined, imo. I have texture so I avoid the glittery finish this blush has. I love the colour tho, it's super pretty. I'm not keen on either palette, yes, Dior palettes used to come in a velvet pouch but haven't done for a wee while now. The two darker shades, in the green palette, look too similar to me. A good navy blue (a muted lemon or dark brown maybe 🤷♀️) perhaps, would have been a better contrast. Your nails are fine Morgan, most YT'rs wear false nails OVER their really, really short, sometimes bitten, nails. 💞💗💞
My nails were same way. So soft and breakable UNTIL I went to specialist in nail salon. Now they are so strong I find myself using them as gentle prying tools in a pinch! Fake nails are glued to mine, then filed to my specs, then gel polish (dozens of colors) with diff tip color if u want and designs, then baked on under blue light to dry. Advise sunscreen on fingers to protect UV damage as they dry (2 min). Last 3-4 weeks until the space between cuticle and top end of painted nail gets too obvious. Keeping cuticles in shape help s longevity. If I choose a light color, I can get away with another week for total of 4-5 weeks. My salon is Vietnamese-speaking, so I bring in a pic of the shape I want and pick my color there TMI? Takes 1-30 min. Once u see the process, there are home kits--some with nails and some w/o where u bake the gel color (on your own nails). .My dermatologist says no harm to nails (no embarrassing nails for 15 years now).
I like the look you created with those shadows. Definitely going to get both of the shadows. I don't get why Dior put glitters/chunky shimmers in their powder products. From 2019 or 2020, one of their Christmas collection face powder that's in a really nice creme color leather case, chunky glitters.
I dono, Dior...drop the big bucks on the blushes and you get glitter particles and a cheap brush with it. I just don't get why they should think its ok to give something like this to their big spending customers. 🤷♀️
I don't know what Dior was thinking? With that red & purple in one compact. I thinkkie 80% of Dior's customers will look like they got a bunched~eye. The blushes are great on you. And the 🐦 earlybird 🐦 one is the best out of the two eyeshadow compacts.
The shipping was a disappointment for me too. So I emailed them and called them. Be sure that you select the fancy packing otherwise it di faults to Eco packaging. Plain brown box.

Love your excitement for this!! To me Dior isn't worth it for the price. The pigmentation is usually blahhh especially on my skintone even when using a white base. I haven't tried any of their blushes or highlighters yet.

I just ordered the blushes and there was an option for boxes. The environmentally friendly packaging was preselected. I noticed it at the last minute and selected the luxury box. 😔

Just wanna put this out there. The ‘glitter’ in any dior face powder product is mica not actual glitter. Just saying; if it were glitter it would have a different effect on the skin (would be able to pick it out).
The blush is nice I could see myself picking one up but the quads tbh look pretty in the pan but not feeling the shadows on the eye🤷♀️ I will pass on those quads
Michele Wang, the lover of baked gelee products, said that synthetic brushes are not very good at picking up this type of product. Maybe your refr brushes would do a better job.
I like the green eyeshadow pallets wouldn't buy looks like hot garbage. I feel like my elf quad that's 3 dollars would work better. There is no way in hell I would pay for either of those eyeshadows.

I just ordered the blushes and there was an option for boxes. The environmentally friendly packaging was preselected. I noticed it at the last minute and selected the luxury box. 😔

Just wanna put this out there. The ‘glitter’ in any dior face powder product is mica not actual glitter. Just saying; if it were glitter it would have a different effect on the skin (would be able to pick it out).
The blush is nice I could see myself picking one up but the quads tbh look pretty in the pan but not feeling the shadows on the eye🤷♀️ I will pass on those quads
Michele Wang, the lover of baked gelee products, said that synthetic brushes are not very good at picking up this type of product. Maybe your refr brushes would do a better job.

I like the green eyeshadow pallets wouldn't buy looks like hot garbage. I feel like my elf quad that's 3 dollars would work better. There is no way in hell I would pay for either of those eyeshadows.
