Those two guitar lines at 2:50 sound so nostalgic to me. Maybe it's the Dimebag Divebomb that precedes them, but their guitarist just has this uncanny ability to make iconic guitar riffs that instantly sound like you've known them forever
That part stands out to me to. There is a harmony that resonates my soul
Jay walking backwards, grandfather….. the ending of those dogs prove 12 could be as mainstream and successful as they’d like… I’m in the basement right. Ke listening to this due to such creative differences with my wife and business…. Sorry, but I’ve been saying the first part for years

Can’t wait for the one they have coming!!! These guys have such a unique sound.. So heavy and hardcore, but with those killer jazz harmonies they’re doing. their stuff just gets heavier and jazzier and I fucking love it. Super nice guys too. Cool af.

this was my favorite band in high school, even still listen to classics like jay walking backwards, empty calm (my most favorite), and grandfather just to name a few. it feels so good to know they're still releasing stuff! much love to you all.
I'm happy to see that there's more people who has the exact taste as me, I've been obsessed with The fall of Troy and Fear before the march of flames for the last 8 years.. We need more bands like this back.

@@greysautumn398 thanks, my horizons are pretty open man, #12 has been a favorite of mine since about 2003. I've been listening to mathcore, tech death, post hardcore, progressive rock, melodic hardcore, post metal, whatever djent is anymore to sludge, doom, beatdown and whatever you want to call bands like mewithoutyou, la dispute and others. There probably is stuff I've not heard before, but I am pretty deep into the non mainstream music scene

I'd say mewithoutyou and la dispute are post rock/post hardcore with some math elements
@@greysautumn398 just trying to give #12 a complement. There is a ton of great music out there, but it's not often I hear something as unique and as fresh as this, not trying to diss new music, I am happy to be alive in this era of music.

If the record is as good as these two singles this will be my favorite hardcore record of all time
This one, more than most Number 12 songs in the discog, really feels like it takes you on some kind of cinematic journey from front to back. Even without any music video.

This is their best album, imho. Mainly because of proper recording, mixing and mastering.
The old tracks are also fucking amazing but damn... It's hard to listen. I've had this problem back in 2006 also... I was really ecstatic to hear them recorded properly. Finally.
