Magirus Team Cab - Highest safety level for fire-fighters.
As the first manufacturer worldwide, Magirus offers a firefighting crew cab that fulfills the requirements ECE R-29/03 crash test. The regulation R29/03 demands regarding roll over strain a static load of 7.5 t resp. a load of 9 t. Our video shows, that the Magirus Team Cab successfully passed the test with 10 t static roof load without any loss of survival space inside the cab which is the main criteria for the crew. Thus the specifications of the norm were exceeded by up to 25% and therefore our Team Cab offers highest safety for any mission.

It's certainly a nice achievement but... To be honest, I'm more impressed by the ECE-R29 test that Ferrara did 12 years ago (ECE-R29/03 wasn't invented yet) where they tripled the static load on the roof to 33 tons. And honestly? While being Belgian I do feel safer riding an American fire trucks which are more rigid compared to the European versions and even more important, unless they use a commercial chassis (which doensn't happen a lot for crew cabs) they use purpose build cabs designed for fire trucks, just like Dennis did years ago in the UK.

I don't think there is a safety difference between an extra build crew cab in europe and an american truck if both build there vehicles well. I can't speak for the US trucks since I am not so familiar with them but in europe there are so many regulations that you shouldn't be worried. Of course I wouldn't recoment to roll the truck a couple times (which the crew cab possibly wouldn't survive). But you mus be a total idiot if you manage to do this to a truck.

+Magirus GmbH can you guys test what happens when you go from the 5 gear full speed in the 1 gear please. Otherwise help me promote this question somewhere and make it happen please :)

This simply won't work. Most trucks drive with an automatic transmission which will never do such things. And if you drive a manual it won't work either because of the mechanics behind the gear changing mechanism (it would be to much to explain in detail).
