You have no idea how impressed I am with this video. I've watched it over 20 times, and have sent it around to friends and posted it on forums. Well done!
What made MJ great more than anything else was the breadth of his actual skills. He was a supremely talented basketball player on both ends of the court. His offensive arsenal was limitless and his defense was rock solid. You do not lead the league in scoring, win the DPOY (together with the scoring title in the same year), set records for blocks and steals, lead the league in steals, and have the highest PER in history without having unnatural talent and an unrivaled skill set.
I'm as big of a Lebron fan as you can get, but come on...The conversation of the GOAT isn't even a conversation. It isn't debatable. MJ ALWAYS will be the GOAT.
I agree with your video description....I didn't think we needed LBJ here....I believe he will not succeed in Miami...and I love Skip Bayless being real when it comes to LBJ....
@Raw000 yup i will never forget how hard for mj to overcome the badboys.. but with sure determination and will MJ cameback stronger than ever and make the pistons pay for it with a 4-0 sweep. MJ is better than his hype and always silencing the critics.. that's what makes him so special.
Here is the difference: When the media and players started getting on Lebron for playing bad - he got worse. When the media and players challenged MJ in the same fashion, he not only got better - but made a point to embarrass them.
Lebron can take his place in line BEHIND Kobe. Why do these arguments skip Kobe over. Guy has 5 rings and scored like 80 something points in recent history. Take a number Lebron. I wont even speak Of MJ in this silly debate.
@Losdouble Yes and no imo. The truth of the matter is, while Lebron has great passing skills and a good offensive game, he lacks a lot of what made MJ great. Lebron lacks a consistent jumper, a post up game, doesn't move without the ball well, doesn't use screens as well, etc. Jerry West noticed these things years ago. Lebron doesn't have an all around offensive game, as exposed by Dallas. Combine that with the soft rules he faces, the comparison dramatically weakens.
@uberathlete Jerry West is the same guy who said Lebron James is better than kobe bryant and could be the best player of all time...he is one of the greatest ever, but i wouldnt hold his topsy turvy comments to much merit
@uberathlete Lebron shot over 50 percent from the field this year. What were you saying about consistent??? he has zero post up game and he's not as ball dominant as carmelo anthony or kobe for that matter. and MJ was pretty damn ball dominat as well. and he doesnt use screens well.
You compare Lebron to Jordan than say hes better than Jordan? Fuck out of here Lebron 8 years: 2 MVPS Jordan at 8 years: 3 MVPs, 6 all time scoring champion, 8 all star selection, 1 All star MVP, 2 Finials MVP, 1 time defensive player of the year, 7 all nba selection, 5 defensive selection, All rookie, Rookie of the year, 2 time NBA dunk contest winner, Ranked #1 by SLAM Magazine's Top 75 Players of All-time, 2 time Olympic gold medal winner. Whos better?!?
idk but i never liked lebron with the cavs, lacked heart, determination, killer instinct, seemed to care about his popularity then winning....same reasons everyone hates him now(and more of course)
@kllerdragonx1 You forgot to mention "nice dunks Lebron...but where's the defense?" Oh yeah today's watered down rules were purposely made to allow such players as Lebron to penetrate with minimal problems! Notice how when he penetrates, it seems like players just move out of his way, or just don't move at all because they're afraid of fouling him. Today's rules are enough of an argument to say that Lebron can't achieve what Jordan achieved!
Lebron better than MJ??? haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.......what 19 year old said that? Ever notice how all Lebron highlights are all the same?? He rumbles down the floor light a tight end and power slams. Big fucking deal. He's this era's Dominique Wilkens without the offensive weapons that Nique had.

Jordan is born while James is made!
This video gets me so fucking hyped.
Apples and oranges. Finesse and power.
0:48 Looks like both the ref and the player are enjoying the steal.
yeah, i like the 2nd half of the video. first half was all aggression, 2nd half was grace and control mixed with vicious tenacity.
Excellent vid...what's the name of the song?

@speghettivelcro agree.. win or loose jordan will put up a s show to remember.. day-off is not in his dictionary.

Hey what song did you use all throughout this video?

Talentwise...Lebron is up there with Jordan.... Mentally he's up there with Ryan Leaf
what song begins a 34 seconds in?
@Kdubslugga lol AMEN to that.. so true. i love the truth.
@Kdubslugga did you even watch MJ? Or are you talking on what people said about. You were probably still into cartoons when he was winnin those chips.
Scottie Pippen disliked this vid
Larry Bird once called Jordan God coming down to Earth to play basketball. No one's called Lebron God coming down to Earth to play basketball.
What's the name of the song.
