I am torn. One one hand this is a clear copy/clone of a NBT screen which is kind of a mean move. On the other hand aftermarket robust outdoor screens pushing the big 3 to lower prices is better for everyone. I think the price point is still too high as you need a larger difference. For less than 30% increase in cost, you get a full functional head which offers a backup if a head goes down. With a mirrored screen if the broadcasting head fails, you get to go home instead of continuing to fish.
Really nice product. Just curious tho why you need hdmi output for the mirror images? You can link 2 Ultra 126 units with a Ethernet cable and have control of each unit individually. Is it possible to still link your screen to a Ultra 2 but use the Ultra as the source for screen adjustments such as your sensitivity/ contrast ect and it still mirror the image. Just curious if that's possible.
@@jpt2525 Dual controls on different screens with the dual hdmi, so if you have two Garmin units plugged into it, you can control either unit depending on your screen selection, so when on screen one, you are controlling one unit, when on screen two you are controlling the other unit. Dual hdmi and usb connections, 8 different screen settings, build quality, our unit was built to our specifications,we didn’t purchase a screen from china or cables from china every component of our unit was designed for FFS. Same cable manufacturer that builds lowrance and simrad built our cables. The background is darker, you have two ways you can have imaging pop better, higher contrast (brighter brightness) or darker black background. We have the same brightness but our background is darker so fish and structure will stand out more.
Looks like you guys did a really good job with this!Congratulations! I think it’s going to be a popular unit. Any tips for Lowrance Active Target 2 for clearing up a a cluttered bottom? My AT2 and HDS Live has like a half moon ring that interferes allot of the information right on the bottom. Any help would be appreciated.
Nice looking unit....could not help but notice you continuing to swivel your head to the side of the unit to find the button you wanted....seems like maybe a few markings on the front of the unit to help identify those buttons might be a good idea....I get that you wanted the most screen real estate but buttons on the front would seem to make good sense....
@@trouttrackerparkcity we considered that but it added a lot of dead space on the front and it also also made the housing overall wider which adds to the difficulty of being almost too wide to easily mount on the bow of a Bassboat.
Why don’t you ever make units for Lowrance?

Yep copying the kid from NBT's product.

do you have your 2d sonar and side and down imaging on on the same unit that you are running AT2 on?
@ thanks for the reply. It’s actually on a dedicated ice fishing kit with lithium battery. I had A AT1 and my 2 is worse for clutter than my 1 was.
