    Welcome to Peterson Family Farm. On this UA-cam channel, we plan to show viewers what happens on a real life family farm in Kansas. From working with animals, to planting seeds, to harvesting grain, to putting up hay, to fixing equipment, you'll get to see what farming is like! Our farm is a 5th generation farm started in 1882 by our great great grandparents. We grow wheat, corn, soybeans, milo, sunflowers, and forages and we feed about 1,000 head of cattle. To learn more about it, watch our channel intro video here: • Welcome to Our New You...

    This partnership with Kubota is very good for Kubota. Seeing a tractor being used in practical farming operation will give us viewers a good opportunity to evaluate its potential for our farms.

    Great to see Kubota is continuing to follow through with continued access to products for you to use day in and out. You have a pretty good gig going there. Hope to see bailer, mower and rake next season.

    Dad and I just bought a slightly used 2020 m7 172 with a loader a month ago. We traded a older 6410 johndeere for it . We have a grapple bucket on it for moving bales and manure. I think that kubota makes a decent priced tractor with plenty of options at a competitive price. We priced out a johndeere with the same specs for almost 20k more . With the ag markets and high input costs for next year we needed a new loader tractor that is affordable and reliable. Great video keep up the good work!

    Thanks for the great video. It was most enjoyable and interesting.
    Great you got another m7 tractor to try out and use. Looks really nice. Has nice designs in it.
    You will put it to good use feeding your herd.
    Lot of folks looking forward to the m8 coming out again. More of a row crop tractor I guess.
    Put the m7 through its paces. You all will get good use of it. Nice tractor.
    About it for now. You all take care and be safe. May god watch over all of you. Looking forward to the next video.
    Thanks for everything.
    Nice tractor you got.

    If only the Kubota Paint didn't fade so bad. My two tractors and skid steer are faded terribly even tho the only time they are outside is during use. Thats my only complaint.

      @@walkermorton8604 waxed often, I have ^0 year old tractors with original paint that probably never saw wax till I owned them that look better than 10 year old tractors that get waxed every year and are stored indoors look. The metal surfaces age differently than the plasticstic surfaces. this will not prevent me from buying another Kubota cause they are awesome, but when you take pride in your stuff it sucks that this happens.

    Would love to get hands on with the m8. Just not sure if kubotas dealers are up to par on dealing with a mostly third party machine like that.

    • @brucespidle8711
      @brucespidle8711 2 роки тому +1

      Kubota is starting out with just a few dealers on the M8, and they have been through a significant amount of training on them. In addition, an initial parts stocking order is auto shipped to the dealers, once their first tractor is shipped.

    Great video!! I have a very good spot in my heart an mind for kubota as about 9 years ago roughly my dad went out on a limb from always been john Deere an bought his first kubota an it was jus a more compact utility maybe they called it not sure but it was M 9540 with cab an all the options with loader an bucket an bale fork an he absolutely loved it an it really grew on me too while using it .. i recall they saying it was about 96 horspower 4.cyl turbo with hydrostat trans .. it was a great tractor dad biught it brand new we from Ontario Canada an unfortunately dad passed away 3 yrs later but he really enjoyed that tractor an only put about 3000 hrs on it .. my question is what would be the similar model an number of that tractor be now .. an how long did that series of tractor last for till the new model number take over .. will kubota be making bigger models in the future than there buggest they have now ? Thanks

      As I mentioned in the video, we have the M8 series of tractors @ 180 & 200 engine HP. Yes, a M5 series would be a good replacement for your original Kubota.

    When is Kubota or some other manufacturers going to offer the cvt on a tractor down to 100hp. I could use the cvt on a tractor around 100hp for use in haying.

    • @brucespidle8711
      @brucespidle8711 2 роки тому

      Kubota did offer the M7-131/132 Premium KVT, at 100 PTO HP, for several years, but the take rate was extremely low on it. Thus, was removed from the line. We do offer the M7-152 KVT at 120 PTO HP.

      14 standard halogen lights, plus 4 hazard flashers. Generally add the high mount work light kit on units equipped with the front end loader, as well.

    Tractor looks nice, but why don't they put all the controls on the armrest like Case did years ago

    • @brucespidle8711
      @brucespidle8711 2 роки тому

      By my count, the multi-function handle on the basic M7 features five tractor control functions, where as the same level Maxxum offers three. For the premium level versions I count six and six. Each brand does determine what functions they feel are the most important. The M7 premium versions also offer a fully featured floating armrest, with a touch screen monitor, as standard equipment. The M7 shown in the video is our basic Deluxe version.

      @brucespidle8711 2 роки тому +1

      I don’t have the answer as to exactly why the pin hole is the size it is, but it’s a definite request from the field to change it down the road.
