Omg I randomly found an old sheet of paper with just two words on it in the way I wrote when I was a child, and it read the title of this video. So I typed it in, and I already recognized the thumbnail, I don't know how many times I watched this video back then, but it was a lot, considering I still remember it. It was one of my first UA-cam videos I ever watched, and I seemed to like it that much, that I decided to make my older self watch it again, omg even the Wohoo at the end I remember, thanks for your great work man!
Every time I'm supposed to be studying for an exam I end up watching dominoes videos (don't ask me why) and after 4 years of career this is the best i've seen so far.
that was truely inspirational and absoloutly stunning at the same time truely great finally a good youtube video hard to come across and wow, im subscribing
Rube Goldberg is in the corner wimpering and sucking his thumb saying over and over "I'm not worthy. I'm not worthy." Dude, your stuff is soooo awesome! I am here because of watching you on AGT. I was so happy for you that your latest attempt worked. I can't believe you were voted through! Good luck.
@scyduckzard2007 It's "Eureka", which is Greek for "tell everybody about this video so it goes viral and I never ever have to work a crappy office job ever again", or something like that :)
@dudosaur It's actually pretty small, so I had to do this in segments. Be sure to check out Frenetic Kinetics! as it's even more elaborate than this video...
That's great that you and your son enjoy my videos, Sasha! I enjoy the gratification when the chain-reactions are occurring the best, especially when the gadget works perfectly. I do try to have fun creating the gadget as well...
I figured you would be one of those cool acts on AGT that are fun to watch but aren't going to go super far. After watching your youtube videos, you could make finale, easy. Oh, and I'm subscribing. :)
on america's got talent, i think you should of done one of the gadgets at 0:50 (the moving pictures). artsy things like that could have given you the edge to get into the top 10 and maybe even top 4 :) long live the king
@jimmymakesyajealous I was trying to work in a Muybridgeoscope into the Wild Card herringbone gadget, but quickly discovered that if I made the frames big enough for the audience to see, then they didn't fall fast enough for the motion to fuse together...
@missmopox Glad you enjoyed it, missmopox! This took me three months to make. If you want to learn more about stick bombs, check out my video "Xyloexplosives 1001"...
My son and I spend hours a day watching your videos. We always enjoy them. As an adult, however, I have to ask. What do you enjoy more: the anticipation while creating, or the gratification while 'reactions' are occurring?

Cool!
Every time I'm supposed to be studying for an exam I end up watching dominoes videos (don't ask me why) and after 4 years of career this is the best i've seen so far.
This is one of my favorites because it has the balloons at the end!!!
Glad you enjoyed it, lipskas! The song is "Beautiful Dreamer" by Stephen Foster...
that was truely inspirational and absoloutly stunning at the same time truely great finally a good youtube video hard to come across and wow, im subscribing
Whoo Hoo! Keep them and showing them! Awesome!
Thanks, Ragnar! This was meant to be a 'Whitman's Sampler' of sorts of my basic kinetic-art techniques...
I loved the flip-book. And I think that's the world's largest popsicle stick bomb.
Dude, that was just incrediable
hahahaha your "woo hoo!" cracks me up! great work.
Thanks, Ignis! I try to avoid too many puns so they don't revoke my Comic License and send me to the Old Jokes' Home ;)
Rube Goldberg is in the corner wimpering and sucking his thumb saying over and over "I'm not worthy. I'm not worthy."

I figured you would be one of those cool acts on AGT that are fun to watch but aren't going to go super far. After watching your youtube videos, you could make finale, easy.
Oh, and I'm subscribing. :)
@Catchicken89 Thanks, Catchicken! Working with the tiny sticks is a lot more frustrating and accident-prone than popsicle sticks...
Very cool. 0:55 was the best part.
on america's got talent, i think you should of done one of the gadgets at 0:50 (the moving pictures). artsy things like that could have given you the edge to get into the top 10 and maybe even top 4 :) long live the king

just wondering, do you use new sticks for each video or do you reuse them?
My son and I spend hours a day watching your videos. We always enjoy them. As an adult, however, I have to ask. What do you enjoy more: the anticipation while creating, or the gratification while 'reactions' are occurring?
