@Flightspan Believe it or not, I've thought of the analogy myself between mandalas (there's an excellent one in the Minneapolis Institute of Arts) and my kinetic art. Capturing my gadgets on video makes them not so impermanent. Great minds think alike ;)

@lunatim thanks for the quick response. i've seen other videos put disclaimers at the beginning of the videos about safety and people would have to be responsible for their own actions if they attempt anything. honestly i think that's enough to avoid anything such as a lawsuit. of course you could always just make the video for me too and make it private XD

However, my very big concern about this is that even if I warn people on the video to wear safety goggles, some will be careless and not do so. @hubeda You caught me at a good time :) A disclaimer probably would be legally sufficient, especially in light of all the UA-cam videos showing people how to make real explosives, incendiary devices, etc. However, I used to work for the local civil court and saw a lot of lawsuits which has made me a bit skittish.
