I'm not afraid to use resin, but appreciate your alternative ideas for not using resin, as I like to change things too. Like take the turtle out if I want.

since you now have at least 4 of those planters and can change the plants in them you could look for artificial plants that look like herbs or diy them and make a mini herb garden for your doll kitchens!

Hey Toya - fellow crafter and doll lover from NJ - you are actually 100 responsible for getting me into dolls after a life time of hating them... At 37.
And- 😂 even though i forgive you (not sure my hubby does!)- i have a gift for you...
How would you like the weights for everything that is in the mini-verse balls from every series... You can take a packing scale that measures in grams to the store with you and you can always get the mini-verse item you want instead of leaving it up to chance or buying a ton of them.
Happen to know the weight of the cat planters?
I sure do - @@toykeyper8914 - it's 105.64 grams - even if it's a little off, it's always the lightest in every case. Both with Wave 1 and Wave 2 - in Wave 1 you get the white cat planter, in Wave 2- the black cat planter!

Froggy, you should save the bigger paper bags and transform them into plant boutique shopping bags or bags of potting soil, or something.
TOYA: one of those round shelf things can be used as an exercise wheel that is for small pets. I have seen a cat running on one. Just take the shelf in the middle out. tah dah!

If you get nothing but turtles, I'll take them! I love turtles!!! :D I love all animals, but wolves and turtles are my faves LOL I bought a bunch of these and could NOT find a turtle. So I bought it on eBay, then got some more of these surprise balls, and BOOM. Last one I opened was a turtle. That's my luck LOL Your idea for making the water is so much better than the resin! I love that the plants don't require resin. I'm a big fan of nothing permanent. :D
It actually makes me really happy that you’ve found ways to use the make it mini toys without using the resin. Because I really wanted to get some but the resin always scared me for a few reasons. So thank you! I will now purchase some for my dolls 😊

I love how Toya can literally craft with any material given! The first time I used resin in a Make it Mini, I had a lung issue with breathing the resin, so Mod podge is a great alternative! Thanks Toya!

I bought one of these the other day. I thought you got 1 of each (plant, aquarium and a candle) but I should have known better. And then I realized I had to work to put the thing together. The resin does stink terribly and takes much longer than 5 minutes in the sun to fully set. I much prefer the plants. Tip, grab a ball in store that feels lighter because the resin has a lot of weight to it and the soil is light ;)

I respect your choice not to use resin, but if you ever want to try, I use an FFP3 mask with a filter against the fumes. Gloves should protect your skin. Maybe other people find that useful as well.

I love how you worded out on why you don't use the resin. To be honest I find it a bit alarming that resin comes with what could be a toy for children. Resin should strictly be used with adult supervision and protection like gloves.
But like I said, you worded it in a way not to deter people from getting them if they wish to do so.
