4:02 You can put a thin magnet on the back of the Monopoly board and use 1mmx1mm magnets on the pieces. So if you drop one just use another magnet to find it. (If you sew, invest in either a construction sweeper magnet or glue a string magnet to a stick. Godsend for finding dropped pins)
6:59 Since you cut out the racket, you could use those same magnets in their hands so you can switch out things they are holding. If you have regular size Barbie hands you could experiment with, maybe try putting magnets in their hands to hold items too. Use a small drill bit, to make a very small recess, so the magnet will be flush to the palm. Glue in the magnet, and paint over it to hide it. (Why experimentation is needed. ) Heck this might be an idea for holding on doll shoes that are a little too big.

Look for a screw finder - its a magnet on a telescopic arm used often to grab dropped screws and bolts when working under the hood of a vehicle

Love the miniature games. Can remember when the actual games were 7-12 or so (Life, Monopoly, etc.) but that was a bit over five decades ago.

Every household in the 80's had Monopoly. In my household, we didn't have a complete set because I was using the pieces as Barbie accessories. 😄
Fabulous idea to make a Barbie Monopoly game, I still think your painting skill are still amazing, maybe once Halloween is up maybe you can paint a mini canvas of Corpse Bride Emily or paint

Toya! I have a really cool idea! What if you made a board game where the goal is to get a full outfit for your doll and you go around the board and can collect some strange or weird accessories and whoever completes their outfit first goes to the “movie premiere” or some other big event and you could have a backdrop at the end for them to pose their dolls after! 😱 I think it would be so fun!!

One option when customizing dolls (whether full scale or mini) is using watercolor pencils to sketch guidelines for where to paint details. Having a base to know where to paint can sharpen your linework, Toya.

You know those chrome metallic powders that you rub on your fingernails for nail art?
Can the chrome powders be used on items, like the teeny tiny game pieces or doll jewelry? And would you use clear nail polish or clear varnish to seal them in?
Just curious, but this could be handy for turning small items into metal/steel items. Like the Monopoly game pieces!

Trinity loves ❤ monopoly but doesn’t like that the mini version I found on Amazon is only for 2 people since it’s a family game… personally I only like trivia games, but they are hard to play with the whole family since our ages vary wildly not to mention our areas of expertise. The girls mostly have knowledge of anime, (Eden), 🦖& 🐎 (Faith) gaming, fashion and Trinity knows about sports and how to excel in everything because she is the typical oldest child although they are all highly competitive. My father luckily lives in Sweden because playing any game against that genius will ruin anyone’s self-esteem 😬 (how I grew up…it’s all his fault 😂). The Barbie game is sooooo cuuuute!!!! Trinity suggested a 4 times bigger version 😅, or four times more slots so that the game can be played longer. I think it is perfect the way You did it but I figured I should mention her suggestion since she is the one who loves board games (all games and sports pretty much) and is typically right 😂. You had Your own version made of monopoly called “my money”. Did You make the box and board for it only or is there all the cards and stuff somewhere under printables that I didn’t catch? That would definitely be heaven sent.

There used to be keychains that eere miniature games. I yad a wiiden cabinet filled with moni games. Connect 4, battleship, Life, etc. Twister had little circle dots you could put on the ground. Most were good for dolls

I love these. Of course I went for the Ouija board first, I have a few others and will get more in time. Like 20 years ago there were tiny board games keychains with pieces that are maybe a tiny it smaller than world's smallest. I have to dig one out to compare. There was a Ouija, operation, clue, monopoly and more. Yes they are smaller, I found some on ebay, they are from 1998 by Hasbro.
