It's absolutely beautiful how after all Araragi has tackled in the realm of oddities and spiritual forces, here we see him facing none of that, just a friend he had failed in the past and now he is trying to do right by, even if it could never truly repair what's been broken.
A lone, blooming flower is as vibrant as a bouquet of flowers. It radiates its beauty in the landscape, without any assistance but the soul of a sun and the willpower of water. Introversion is like that; a lone, blooming flower. Hanekawa is the same.
Weirdly enough, the first time I watched the Sodachi story arcs, they didn't have much of an impact on me. But upon rewatching them I found myself getting pretty emotional over it. I guess I wasn't mature enough to handle the subject matter the first time around.
There's something about this scene and ost (Araragi saying he's going to teach Sodachi how to be happy and tell her about her mother) that just completely breaks me every time. I strongly dislike some of the more loli-orientated fanservice, but man oh man, this series is a masterpiece and I will never forget.
This probably doesn't sound right coming from someone with my username, but i completely agree. People often turn away because of the fanservice but Monogatari is truly an incredible story and this arch is just top tier.
"Lets have a study group. Because even if our foolishness is endless, we can become wiser together."
Hans Wurst what’s this line from?
@@asrielgoddard8 It's from episode six of Owarimonogatari - final episode of the Sodachi arc. From a monologue spoken by Araragi.
Hans Wurst ah danke man
@@asrielgoddard8 no problemo ;)
One of my favorite lines from the anime. Idek if it's poetic or not but damn is it beautiful.
