It looks exactly like Krall NP03. Only Krall packs some punch. Looks like it is all coming from the same factory, with various labels and power settings.
Don’t think so, if it had some way of turning the power up when the stock is attached which I’m sure can be done then I would buy one but in it’s present form I totally agree with you. I personally think they have missed a chance to make the perfect pistol/rifle. I would even pay more for that concept! Great video.
It is very similar to the Hatsan AT44 P2. Cheshire Gun Rooms were selling that for £250 a few years back when everyone else wanted £500 for it. Wish I'd picked one up at £250! As usual, good video.
Brilliant and honest review as ever and love each and every one you do! I appreciate the time and effort you spend which must be enormous considering the quality of each of your video's. I agree with your opinion and this gun leaves me baffled also as to what it was actually designed for 🤔
Looks awesome with the stock and rifle scope. They should do a sub 12ftlbs version with a permanent stock. Compact rifle without having to be a bullpup. I'm sure it would be popular.
Nice review and it was identical to my thoughts after purchasing one a few months ago from a local dealer in Gloucestershire, shame about the power but saying that i still like the gun (No Regrets) and its had a lot of use target and can shooting. oh and it seems way too similar to the "kral puncher np 01" apart from being power adjustable.
Noticed the ease of taking the stock off, mine does not have a nut and bolt fixing the retaining pin on mine only enters from one side and i s not removable! have they changed the design?
Yep, noticed this disappointing mod on my new rifle too! Quick cut in the dome head tamper proof screw with a dremmel soon sorted that. Rifle takes down nicely now with screwdriver and fits conveniently into standard backpack. Will replace this screw with stainless cap screw eventually.
Mmmmmmmm it's a tricky one this !!! ... Looks good for sure , underpowered for rifle " guise "? Well yes ... Adaquate power in pistol " guise " yes ,.... expensive? I'd say yes , I like the looks specially in pistol form , would I buy this " pistol "? The answer would have too be No , I probably need too have more money then my wife would allow me too have , and that's not much , ...I'd go ( and at less then half the price ) for the artamis pp700 .. there is a shoulder stock available , and a total of around ( dependant on which shop you buy it from ) £250 .. gives you a good 5.5 - 6ftlb power as well , which is plenty ( was actually 9ftlb when I bought it , lowered now ) looks ACE anawl ... Summary on the Webley GOOD POINTS very good looking Nice add-ons Ok ( ish ) power in pistol form Ideal for back yard tin bashing BAD POINTS Power too low for rifle form Expensive ? It's a bit like watching a 200 Euro hooker in a Amsterdam window , looks good , but if you wonder down the back streets you can pick a trick up for 10 euro , maybe not as good looking, but out performs the more expensive one ... APPARENTLY ... DISCLAIMER under no circumstances do I condone the use of OR PURCHASE of ladies of the night ... The above comments were made STRICTLY as a comparison for the pistol / rifle review Fantastic vid Andy ... Loved it
The low power output is actually a problem in the UK only....Canada maybe and some other 'safe' countries.....here in Spain that same gun is putting out 20 joules....so as a carbine it's excellent and as a pistol exceptional. It's a Kral to us of course not a Webley....🙂
Andy will it be a problem to screw and unscrew the stock..you seem to indicate that it is a permanent fixture when applied? Would you let me know your feelings ! Regards Mike
Hi Andy What a waste of money and space, especially for £450, you can get a full PCP rifle for that, which might not be persistently accurate, but at least it will scare the target more than the eclipse would. Take care, stay safe and keep it lit 👍 my friend
no thanks what a waste of time co2 pistol power this should be sub 12 take down do away with the pistol idea altogether increase air cylinder size then will be considered useful
It occurs to me that the Eclipse is now meant to be a RIFLE proper and has had the power raised to sub 12 ftlbs. hence the stock would have to be permanent to correspond with the law., have not had time to chronograph mine yet but it will go through both sides of a Heinz bean can at 10 metres ! so must be more than pistol level? anyone got ideas on this?
@Massimo Hack as I say I have a CP2 it's totally modular compact and can use hpa, not a huge chunk plastic . And you can twist one nut, and it goes up and beyond 12 ft lb. £40 second hand
@@jonnyjoanknecht5164 I am a bit late in the day writing but have just got one marked Eclipse 12 and the stock is definitely not meant to be removed. it appears to be fitted with a permanent pin with no obvious means of removal, have not had time to chronograph it but it is accurate and sounds like it is putting out sub 12lbs power rifle style
Gun looks good for sure,BUT as a pistol too heavy, too expensive...as a rifle too weak and again too expensive for £/ftlb...for £150-£200 maybe...hell,you can have Kral NP-02 for £350 and that is piece of art rifle
l duncan : Hi there, thanks for watching, I have reviewed a lot of budget guns. Both pcp and co2 and springers, ranging from about £100 upwards, please take a look at my other reviews ( there are about 120 of them) hopefully they will help, and another budget gun review will be out this Friday.
hmm ... I genuinely would be interested in a comparision to the fx verminator mk2 ... cause when I looked into if I could afford this airgun .. which sadly ended up with a negative result :(( ... there were so many reviews/feedbacks that stated this gun was powerful enough to outshoot full lenth airrifles and dosent leave anything to be desired ...whats ur opinion on that ??
Seems like they tried to make a cp2 but ended up with a gimmicky toy. There seems to be a general consensus that co2 guns are underpowered and pcps are always full power, heck, I think the cp2 could beat this in pistol mode even on the coldest of days. Come on Andy, admit it, its crap, dont be so kind!!
Webley use to make some very good guns but unfortunately now most of the if not all Webley guns a made in Turkey like hutsan and quality control has gone down hill big time like the hatsan at44 having bent barrels and other things wrong.
I love British Companies, but I think they fell down on this design big time, it's a huge ugly pistol, and a fugly carbine / rifle. At that price it needs to stand out with power or looks, but fails on both
That is a sorry excuse for an air weapon, it should at least be full power in pistol mode, i own the webley alecto in. 177, very accurate and powerful at 5.8ftlbs, its very loud though, i added the alecto silencer and its still bloody loud. Regards.

This pistol is the Kral Puncher NP-01 rebranded for Webley
True that i have one.
@@tedsell1455 I think the Kral is more powerfull since in most European countries the limit is the same for rifles and pistols.
Looks like a perfect junior rifle
Just started with air guns and your videos have been really helpful. Keep up the good work and thanks. John.
I'll keep my Webley osprey and my mk3 underlever thank you

The Webley En4cer pretty much fits that bill.
There is now a sub 12 rifle (11.5lbs) the stocks fixed, with a fitted silencer
I have spent some time searching for a review of the Kral NP 01 in English and this could be the best one. Thank you Andy!
Noticed the ease of taking the stock off, mine does not have a nut and bolt fixing the retaining pin on mine only enters from one side and i s not removable! have they changed the design?

Yet again another excellent review I do like the A R type rifles wish this webly had full power in its rifle moad
Kral np01 mate
Awesome looking gun, another great review delivered with....... style
Looks like a lot of fun, I like it!
I was wondering why I could find no reviews for my new kral np01... now I know. I knew kral made webley now but I didn't know they just rebadged it.

Fantastic vid Andy ... Loved it
This seems like a bit of an own goal for webley
how about the 11.5ftb version?
I am very HAPPY with my Crosman 2400 KT...It has a lot more power ; and cheaper too!
The low power output is actually a problem in the UK only....Canada maybe and some other 'safe' countries.....here in Spain that same gun is putting out 20 joules....so as a carbine it's excellent and as a pistol exceptional. It's a Kral to us of course not a Webley....🙂

The prize on that is insane
Should have put something in the stock to boost power when the stock is fitted
So it's either an average powered pistol, or a stunningly under-powered rifle? 😕
Low powered pistol ,, my bb gun has more joules 🤔😅
Hi Andy

I guess it's re-branded and made in Turkey.

Not sure what you're saying.
@@bruceruttan60 I think he means its only providing C02 pistol type power, when it should be giving the max permitted sub 12ft/lb as its a PCP.

Maybe its for people that know how to turn up the power if you could crank it up to 30 ft lb or something ;)
@Massimo Hack I'm gonna stick to my CP2 with quick change barrel and 700 FPS lol
@Massimo Hack as I say I have a CP2 it's totally modular compact and can use hpa, not a huge chunk plastic . And you can twist one nut, and it goes up and beyond 12 ft lb. £40 second hand

Shame it's not got a switch to make it capable of 12fpe
They should have just fixed the but stock on and made it a full power rifle.
They have

Turkey brand aka Kral 😄
The weakest drug I ever used was for a headache 😄

probably suit a junior left hander.....
Can you do a cheaper gun see what best for when don't have lot money to spend

Even as a pistol it’s way down on power. YUK.

Better buy one as a future collectors piece as no one will want one.
Advertised with 800fps, shoots at 400fps? What a fail gun. Thanks for reviewing it, saves me money. 75$ arisoft is more powerfull.
FAC versions available overseas

Price £450 pounds I wouldn't want to waste my money on buying a pistol would rafter buy a FX impact or German gun.
I think the price is to much for a 436 fps i would buy full power rifle
Ive got more power in my Blowgun!!!
Pink O
Not my kind of thing at all. I imagine it would appeal to young airgunners though
"never smoked anything" while reviewing a PCP gun lmao nice
also, love how you dont need to stare at the business end to check the pressure
What a piece of re branded junk!, disgusting in this day age putting Webley, s classic springer on to this foreign junk.

Three fpe? I could spit bb's harder than that. An over expensive toy. Why would you even need to scope it?
At 3 fpe its about as much fun as the host of this show.
The answer to a question nobody asked.
