Replacing and upgrading the noisy fan on a Thinkpad X61 Tablet

I finally got around to replacing the fan in my Thinkpad X61 tablet which I ordered a couple months ago. The old one was rumbling and generally being bothersome, and the one from my X60 tablet (which I used as a donor for the high resolution LCD) was equally bad.
There are a few variants of fans for the X60/X61 models and I think this is the best one I can get that fits the tablet version.

That's a chonky one
