i wish to be an researcher chemist. it's my dream job I've graduated as a chemist in Damascus university in 2017 but i couldn't continue studying master degree because of war. please wish me luck before Christmas .

Love yr video, I'm a 4th year PhD student of chemistry and went back to grad school after working in industry with a BS as a researcher for a long time and then taking an almost 10 year break to do some totally different stuff. Then I had a research idea I wanted to try out and went back to grad school to do it. I love research in the lab and the instruments and doing my own experiments and project and totally agree about believing in your project and that you are adding to human knowledge is essential to driving a scientists passion in the lab because there are a lot repetitive tasks in research that would be just boring without the dream behind them. The permanent academics are true weirdos though!

I always loved chemistry, biological and always had high grades at school in them subjects but being dyslexic I struggled at mathematics and English, schooling in general. I always wanted to work in the laboratory working with chemicals but knowing that I failed at school I thought there'd be no way that I'll ever be a scientist, you make it sound like there's hope.

That's one of best career as scientists I think. They probe for unknowns and make them known, then apply them. Drug design needs them.
