We use to take the kids when they all lived at home to the Alkyon Hotel in Sadari. Loved the Canel de more area but the main resort was very touristy for us. That said a great holiday for a number of years
This looks like a nice resort. I'm a 53 year old single man. Do you think this would be OK for a week as a singleton and are there places to get too other than just Sidari. Bus etc to other resorts?
Definitely a nice place with plenty of bars and restaurants all very close to the beach. Bus stop 🚏 just in the corner of Sidari strip where you can catch the bus to Corfu town. Well worth the visit mate . Cheers 🍻

Looking at a Villa in Sidari for myself & hubby. Would you suggest a car to travel around the area/island or is the public transport pretty good?
If you can definitely get a little rental car. There are so many beautiful spots to visit around the island . With a car it is a lot easier for sure .
