If that couple stays together and looks back 30 years from now, those images will be priceless. I'm taking a lot of photos these days of my wife and I but 30 years ago there were very few. You gave them a gift beyond measure and likely will live on in your legacy as well as in there's.
After shooting for 50+ years I've been on a kick lately to capture some timeless images for some reason. The Q2M is my weapon of choice and while I did get rid of an old reliable body and some older glass I only used a few times a year to make the purchase I have no regrets! Different tools for different jobs!!! #rockon Paul, thank you for the content you share. Have a great day!
Great subjects! Firstly I thought 60’s or early 70’s from the hairstyles, the jackets possibly 90’s and the footwear more recent. The problem about footwear was encountered on the film Quadrophenia when enacting Mods and Rockers 60’s fights and when filmed in the early 80’s, the extras were wearing trainers that were never available back then. A headache for the art direction department. They are certainly a very striking couple, beautifully and timelessly captured.
Great, and wonderfully understandable. I really like the occasional excursions into color, and also into analogue. Despite your great enthusiasm for monochrome, the color photos turned out really great. I like the jump through time. The protagonists and their image look dilute the present. It's the 70s and 80s, shrill memories come back, and music by Paul Weller is playing in my ears.... ;-) Kind regards, Dirk (DT Classics)
I have been trying more and more to step outside my comfort zone of normal (to me) street photography and ask people if I could photograph them. I carry a small note pad in my bag and ask for an email address and send the pictures to them. I have received replies from people telling me how much they liked the images. Thanks Paul...
I would love to hear your thoughts Paul on CCD Sensors, in the cheap point and shoot digital cameras of 10 megapixels and under. If they really come close to film like reproduction in their imagery and if you have some of these cameras already........Many thanks.
I’ve always fancied an M9 or M9 Monochrom to see what all the fuss is about. I’m just not sure myself if the CCD sensors are as good as people say or not

My Q2M should arrive today. You've sold me on it so I hope it lives up to its billing.
Wow, they’re straight out of my sixties in London! Those last few frames were simply amazing. Good stuff Paul👏✌️🇦🇺

Appreciated the blend, between digital and film. Neither is better than the other, but let's have fun and experiment with it all.
Thanks so much!!! I really appreciate it

for film photography, I love t-max 400 in ID11 1:1, it's so beautiful with a sharp lens
I’m pretty excited about film right now

Brilliant!! It’s good to give something back to people who pose
Great portrait photos! Which F-stop did you use for the closeup shots on the Q2?
Thanks so much!! Around 2.4

For the BnW shots with Q2M, did you have the ISO on Auto?
I do indeed
