Oh wow! I grew up in Old Town Pasadena! I use to live in the brookemore apartments 189 n.marengo in the 90's back when the fire department was nextdoor to the brookemore apartments and train use to run behind the building! I was 10 yrs old! I was a mall rat 😂 man the memories! I remember sleeping out overnight in Colorado Blvd waiting for the rose parade! Hanging out at the Pasadena plaza, and skate boarding! Man I had a flawless child hood thanks to the Good LORD, and my parents and old Town Pasadena!!!
There has been a number of folks who have revived old town from the days of the 70's when it was run down Garry Marshall, Buchanan 's , John Wilson plus others THANK YOU

I had the incredible good fortune to grow up there in the 50s and 60s. Back then the "old town" was old and seedy. Still a wonderful place even if it is a bit crowded

I often stay in Pasadena when i visit L.A. because it's cheaper and less traffic than downtown. I enjoy the vibe in Old pasadena area.
