  • Here's my take on the popular easy laid back Half top know hair style. in my version I add a little extra volume to the hair style which, as I've mentioned many times before is flattering on pretty much any and everyone. You guys always say you want to see more hairstyles so here is a great spring and summer style that is stylish yet really easy to do.
    Just to clarify - xtava DID reach out to me and asked if I wanted to try out their products, and therefore sent me their dryer + flat iron at no cost to me - but they're actually really good and affordable products and since you guys had asked me for some more affordable hot tools, I thought it would be a great fit for this video!

    This is so true! I use xtava and I was soooo surprised and completely in love! I have lots and lots of very long but very fine hair so it's really hard to dry my hair quickly but having heat on it for a long time is no good, xtava is literally the first blow dryer that does the work in a normal amount of time (it used to take me 20-30 minutes just to get dry, now it takes about 4-7 minutes, INSANE difference) and my hair has stayed really healthy and I'm seeing a lot more volume. Lol, long review but I'm not in any way sponsored by xtava, I just was so surprised it's written about here and I wanted to let every long or thick haired girl know, this is your new holy grail!

    Can you do a video on wella or ion color dupe for "your" hair color I'm not a professional and can't buy professional color don't know which color to choose. Thank You and love your video's!

    • @jessicahuynh6835
      @jessicahuynh6835 8 років тому

      You can get wella and ion from sallys beauty supply for pretty cheap. Im pretty sure i remember she said her roots were a 6N and the blonde is lightened with bleach to like a level 9 it looks like. So if you have virgin, never colored before hair, you can get a permanent dye to do it. If yr hair is already color treated, youd need to bleach, and developer volume would depend on how dark yr hair is now. But i wouldnt recommend if youre never done it before.

    • @jessicahuynh6835
      @jessicahuynh6835 8 років тому +1

      In her video on how to balayage at home, she used a 6N, and mentioned it a couple other times so i figured thats what shes still using. An 8G would be pretty really blonde, closer to the midshaft of her hair.

    'xtava reached out to me'. Oh lol. So most the vid was a shit ad for a crappy hairdryer. Be honest. The hairstyle, which is also crap (your hair looks in bad condition, drying and straightening made no difference, a good conditioner and whacking on less bleach would help considerably). Talking about straighteners, it was conspicuous that you didn't plug them, but I guess you haven't found a company that will give you some or pay you to plug them. Verdict: Shite.
