Thank you for the contribution of your page! I’m glad to see some necessary staples of the thought, but there are others I haven’t read, and yet others I hadn’t even heard of (like this one) There are some YT pages hosting plenty of audiobooks, but I can’t get past the AI voice on them. It’s good to see not just a reading… but a breakdown. A book study. Very cool. Thanks again brother!
Good job. I am pagan Germania, so I own this and many other works in regards to Germanic and Norse Paganism. You did an excellent review of this literature. May the Gods and Goddesses of Asgard watch over you and your family.
Glad to see this, good work! There needs to be more breakdowns of von List's ideas so that people of various backgrounds can gain a better understanding on this strange esoteric pagan school.
I would recommend looking at the channel Taliesin’s Map to learn about the ancient origins of Surtr going back to proto-indo-European times. Compared to the Vedas, the Germanic creation story and chronological family tree of beings from Surtr downwards is almost exactly the same. Surtr seems to be Prajapati and therefore not ‘evil’ or ‘good’ in a abrahamic sense but having a really important role in the structure of god and the universe. I use to agree with you when saying von List was wrong here about his views on the nature of Surtr but now I’ve come to see how close he was to hitting the nail on the head. through the process of comparative mythology employed by the channel Taliesin’s Map, you will see how much is actually preserved. Once you see it you can’t unsee it.
@@jwelke9 Interesting. I’ll look into that but I view Surtr as an evil entity because he is prophecized to kill Freyr and fight alongside the Jotunn against the Aesir at Ragnarok
@ I completely understand where you’re coming from. But I jsut recommend you watch Taliesin’s video on Surtr and the Purusha and the True Indo-European Creation Story. He also further provides his sources. This channel changed my life.
Great work! It's nice to have good video content on his works.

@@molotulo8808 Thank you for the kind words my friend. Hail the Folk!
While im a devout Catholic, I appreciate your breakdown as I want to be fair in my understanding(praise and criticism)of the pagan European tradition
