On 95 South, “my dawgs wanna kill 12” is also a reference to the police. Police are referenced as 12 in the states. The next line references something along the lines of “they stay harassing” so he’s not only talking about a dozen Krispy Kremes but wanting to kill police. Controversial bar but it was hard
Man it's time that you finally react to that My Turn, it's been over a year since it dropped and I feel like you should hear it before Baby drops a new project (make sure it's the deluxe edition cause it's only a few tracks longer but they are fire)
Idk if any of y'all caught this but on track 1, "We sendin' em y'all way/Yahweh is the Hebrew word for God so "we sendin' em to God" Absolutely fire line by J. Cole

My favorites:
Amari, 100 mil, pride is the devil, close, and hunger on hill side.
Classy reaction. Keep it going.

"Big Boss, less Rick Ross, more like a wavey Hideo
KOJIMA."
that shit was so heat
Even nearly 2 years later this album is… just phenomenal.
2 years!!!
This album will still be phenomenal in 30 years tbh
applying pressure & punching the clock are incredible. I wish those tracks were longer
As a J Cole fan I loved EVERYTHING you said about the album. Job well done Sir!!!
21 has improved so much over the years it's kinda crazy
Man it's time that you finally react to that My Turn, it's been over a year since it dropped and I feel like you should hear it before Baby drops a new project (make sure it's the deluxe edition cause it's only a few tracks longer but they are fire)
Idk if any of y'all caught this but on track 1, "We sendin' em y'all way/Yahweh is the Hebrew word for God so "we sendin' em to God"
Absolutely fire line by J. Cole
I’m pretty sure that unrecognized feature is Bas. Someone who you definitely need to react to, especially Too High To Riot, or even the first Revenge Of The Dreamers where I first heard him on “Ceelo With The G’s”
If these are the levels cole is setting, the fall off will be his greatest album…… can’t wait for “it’s a boy” either… i feel like that’ll be more intimate and about his family like his verse on sacrifices… all in all this was a really satisfying project
Is it’s a boy just not him taking time off for his son?
I don’t think it’s a boy is a project
@@JR-dq9qr i’m really not sure… the same was said by some people about the off season being the period of time j cole was taking out of music before releasing the fall off, but it ended up being a project itself lol
@@ishaanhall78 watch the documentary he says first comes off season, then it’s a boy and finally the fall off
@@ishaanhall78 nah it’s gonna be a project.
The wait was truly worth it Cole delivered unbelievably on this one like always, might be he's greatest one to date
the one I’ve been waiting for
This is a fantastic reaction! It’s very clear you know your stuff 🔥
This definitely grew MILES on second listen.
The album is like wine. Gets better over time
Stay healthy and well man, love your vibes and reactions
J Cole, Kendrick, and Drake should drop a joint album before their retirement and call it Mount Rushmore
One of the Best albums of the year thus far in my opinion. Gave me strong Mos Def-esque vibes circa The New Danger era. Which is one of my all time fav artists and albums. And that lil Jon sample, it was giving me life. Omg I love this album to death. It’s special. It’s incredible. It’s delicious. To the Gods Of Rap, I thank you.
Close is my personal favorite. Every track is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 The Real is Back The Ville is Back. Wonderful reaction as always. Keep doin ya thang JD Peace✌🏾
I replied and told Morray when he commented on your reaction video to Quicksand to do a song with J. Cole, I don't know for sure if it was my comment that made him do it but I'm so glad he did! 🔥🔥🔥🎵🎼🎵
"I got a good heart, so I send teddy bears every time we make they mommas cry" is 21 living up to his name
Keep doing what you’re doing Jon! Cole is definitely sitting firmly on the throne right now, King Kendrick needs to drop something soon!!!
The nba player was Damian Lillard. A superstar player. Probably top 10 player in the league. He also raps. Widely considered the best nba player rapper of all time.
Well he doesn’t really have any competition lol
@@MM-jc7uv there was Kobe

Ive been looking for you guys on Rock Reacts. Happy to see you’re still reviewing. JCole has a way of bringing the family together ❤️ subscribed!
On "pride is the devil" he used the Amine "Can't Decide" melody, which I think is a cool credit
Thank you for the reaction!!! One of my favorite people to watch react to music!!
This is the best Cole album ever. Pride is the devil, applying pressure, let go my hand and close are top 10 Cole songs imo
Let go my hand is def top 10
Forest hills drive
@@ayomidebrown129 ong
FHD still the best
@@angelovalentesdasilva2432 nah. This is better. And 4yeo is probably better as well
Shaun cee really said this album wasn’t that good. This is why I watch you you’re more about the music than who you actually like
For people living in the US, we got this album the night after the CDC announced that fully vaccinated people no longer have to wear masks. It’s like a celebration of life getting somewhat back to normal
We never going back to normal
@@felix3033 yes we are lol. It’ll just take some time
So happy you’re coming around to Lil Baby honestly. He’s naaasty, you should check out his discography! His lyrical content is pretty consistent , nothing as deep or technical as JCole (to force the comparison), but his rapping ability is pretty filthy. Great reaction JD , peace and love.
his face 6:16 when 21 came in LMAAOOO
The only reaction I’m watching for this album. Jon’s first time hearing a project like this is all I need
