Oh heck I like On, Butter and Stigma too. But I do appreciate every genre, so I can listen to BTS 200+ songs and not get bored. And I don’t even speak korean!
I'm a 38 y/o hard rock, metalhead at heart and I agree 100% to everything you said. My ult songs by BTS are Fire, Blood Sweat & Tears, Idol, Dope, Not Today, ON, Tomorrow, and House of Cards. Admittedly I wasn't a fan of their ballads until Spring Day hit me with the live performance when that song debuted. Coming from also liking anime songs, the transition was easy. I'm so glad to see other rockers appreciate them too!
if you like classical, their rapline song "Outro: Tear" has a very Hans Zimmer vibe to it (Hans Zimmer the famous composer for films like Inception, Interstellar, Nolan's Batman films, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, I'm sure you know of Hanz if you like classical music/film music). "Outro: Tear" blends rap and the classical film score sound very well. Just a heads up, they use the english word "tear" in 2 ways - as in crying and as in ripping/tearing apart. There's no music video for the song, you can react to the color coded lyric video. If you like the song, you can also check out their live performance of it at Wembley in england, it's the best. They wear all black Dior outfits. Also, this performance of Dionysus doesn't showcase the dance choreography well enough. You HAVE to react to their "Dionysus 2019 MMA Dance Practice" video, you can see the whole choreo there. They have a little dubstep dance break in the middle of it. The whole choreo is amazing, they look like a professional dance crew.
BTS has alot of strength behind them in terms of the vocalists but also by the rappers. The rap line has powerful vocals and able to switch flows when needed. Whilst both of these songs are not live, the must videos and rap flow in them are amazing...........

I recommend for you to react to Black Swan. It's again a different vibe song. If you want a live version I recommend their performance on jimmy fallon since that has closed captions for the song and the video is really beautiful.
I love this song but this performance is not the best of Dionysus in my opinion, the camera is not there at the right time. It would be better for you to watch Dionysus' performance at MAMA 2019.

They go ALL OUT during their concerts...... When you see them in concert you wonder "damn how they not tired?" Bc they are literally so full of energy and passion.... They don't show any exhaustion when they're on stage, they work their asses off. If you watch any of the burn the stage or bring the soul documentaries you will see how driven they are and how much their art and performances mean to them, they love it and they live for it.. You can just tell that they were born to do this.
One thing I learned about BTS is that there is a genre for everyone. I'm very much like y'all. I grew up with rock and roll, blues, swing, etc and never listened to pop music. But I also know to expand my musical knowledge because you'll never know when it comes in handy in a debate, lol. When my aunt, who's a music journalist major from Boston University, introduced BTS to me, I was reluctant because I assumed it was going to be another "boy band". Man, was I wrong! I should have known to trust my aunt's musical taste because she's the reason I love rock and roll. Now, I am a proud ARMY and BTS are on top of my list of legendary musicians. They earned their place on top and I'm glad you guys are opened minded to check them out. A lot of people judge them too quick without looking into their music and story and are missing out in music history.
MMA2019 has my favourite version of Dionysus. If you are willing to do it the 37 minute version shows their versatility and certainly their showmanship. This awards show performance is the best of any award show I have ever seen and I am 49 year old so I have seen a few. It is definitely worth seeing. Loving your openness to check BTS out and your respectful opinions. You are a joy to watch.

The song Dionysus creates a metaphor between drinking/being drunk and the creative process. It is about, essentially, being "drunk" on your art. If you want to hear Latin-style pop, they have that too, lol. You should check out Airplane Pt. 2 or Home. They had a really nice performance of Home on Jimmy Fallon. They don't really have classical except for the instrumental version of Black Swan.

I showed my dad the performance they did of this song at the 2019 mmas and he said it gave him last supper vibes and I kinda see it. I recommend you watch that performance even if it’s just off camera. That whole performance even with the other songs as they don’t do this song till the very end, is probably one of my favorite performances they have done. It’s amazing.

Hey Guys, that is so the come version of Dionysus... whoever recommended this should have told you to watch the MAMA 2019 award show version. Best darn performance from any group I've ever seen in my life. If you get a chance (reaction or not) you should def watch it. You should watch the whole thing because really, they turn awards shows into mini concerts and this entire performance was amazing, but it starts at the 30 min mark. And yes, BTS get like 30/40 mins to preform at these awards shows.
If you listen to the song recorded instead of live concert, you could hear all the bass and guitars especially at the end of it, plus if you listen to suga’s bridge part it was littt
There was a time when they did a very intense performance (like maybe 20-30mins) for an award show, then they had to go back to their hotel right after so they could clean up and fly to another country for a concert(if I'm not mistaken?). I mean their stamina is beyond believable

I still cant believe their singing and dancing at the same time, and their dancing is AMAZING! Their arr dance practices of them practicing with mics so they know when to sing, also that takes A LOOT of work, they sing and rap while going on the treadmill, it's sooo tiering.

Functional alcoholics , u can drink in the parks , roads , beaches , there is no law against public drinking but they have laws against drunk driving. okay guys you make me trust me. you know I am a young African who loves music and whatever her origin. but I was afraid to discover BTS because the people around me have so many prejudices. but one day I said to myself let's go if it's bad it's okay. and I can assure you that I have never listened to such an impressive artist after Mickael Jackson. I really like rock metal and alternative. I also like hip-hop and ballads. with BTS I have everything sorry to have taken so long. but I thank you and congratulate you for not perpetuating the prejudices. people say fandom is toxic. but there are toxic fans everywhere. and in and in general the most toxic are often false fans who want to discourage people. that's really sad (ugh!). The song Dionysus creates a metaphor between drinking/being drunk and the creative process. It is about, essentially, being "drunk" on your art.
If you want to hear Latin-style pop, they have that too, lol. You should check out Airplane Pt. 2 or Home. They had a really nice performance of Home on Jimmy Fallon.
They don't really have classical except for the instrumental version of Black Swan.

I showed my dad the performance they did of this song at the 2019 mmas and he said it gave him last supper vibes and I kinda see it. I recommend you watch that performance even if it’s just off camera. That whole performance even with the other songs as they don’t do this song till the very end, is probably one of my favorite performances they have done. It’s amazing.
"Ma City" is probably their most rocky song. And "Map of the Soul: PERSONA" Is a nice fusion of rock and rap. It is a solo song by RM.
Their award show stages in MAMA 2019 and 2020 also MMA 2019 are the bests!

Dionysus is about artistry. They are using the Greek god of wine and festivity as an allegory for artists "getting drunk" on art and being all full of it.
Hey Guys, that is so the come version of Dionysus... whoever recommended this should have told you to watch the MAMA 2019 award show version. Best darn performance from any group I've ever seen in my life. If you get a chance (reaction or not) you should def watch it. You should watch the whole thing because really, they turn awards shows into mini concerts and this entire performance was amazing, but it starts at the 30 min mark. And yes, BTS get like 30/40 mins to preform at these awards shows.
If you listen to the song recorded instead of live concert, you could hear all the bass and guitars especially at the end of it, plus if you listen to suga’s bridge part it was littt

There was a time when they did a very intense performance (like maybe 20-30mins) for an award show, then they had to go back to their hotel right after so they could clean up and fly to another country for a concert(if I'm not mistaken?). I mean their stamina is beyond believable
