This is what makes F211 covers great! When they transform a pop song, the rumbling rock guitars replacing pop synths, the added guitar solo, the breakdown at 3:05 🤘🤘🤘Do wish Audra's belts were louder tho but still amazing!!!
yeah, that mix could be further refined to put Audra more in front. However, as a Rock rather than a Pop mix, this one works, and was probably intended so! Rock on!

Turn the volume down some on the guy's playing and turn her mic up some, I agree she should be heard better, it's how they mixed it, they could take some lessons from Tim from Foxes And Fossil's but otherwise outstanding as always.

Pretty certain I've shared this story elsewhere but it is undoubtedly one of my favorite stories ever. Was at a Bowling For Soup show in a small bar in Chattanooga, TN when they played this. EVERY last person in the crowd was singing along and what was interesting to me about that is that the crowd was comprised of representatives of pretty much every sub-culture you can imagine. Punks, goths, preps, jocks, nerds, you name it. I doubt you would have found many Britney Spears fans there but the way everyone was rocking out, you'd think it was a Slipknot concert and that they were trying to reduce the building to rubble. It's just one of those songs that you happen to know the words to, Britney Spears fan or not.
That aside, as I've gone through all of F211's covers, I've come to the personal conclusion that you can take any music from the 70s/80s/90s and early 00s, slap on a fresh coat of paint and slightly rearrange this or that and it's still infinitely better than anything that came afterwards. They just really don't make music like they used to.
