2011 Petit Le Mans Finish Peugeot and Porsche - Amazing Battles

Taking another video from the amazing, ten hour endurance race of the 2011 Petit Le Mans. This was a race with both ALMS (American Le Mans) cars, as well as the ILMC (Intercontinental Le Mans Cup) beasts.
In this video you can start to realize at least a percent of a fraction of what the drivers of these amazing cars experience. Pitch-black racing with nothing more than a beaten and bruised pair of headlights, barely hanging on to battle-scarred paint and fenders. All over-taking, diving, and driving was done in little to no light, as you can clearly see here.
With a measly 2 laps to go, and Audi nowhere to be seen, after almost 10 hours of racing, the safety car - which came in when there were about 5 laps to go - finally pulled into the pits and immediately the action heated up one more time in the GT class as the Porsche and BMW initiated a heated battle for 2nd place. Ferrari was quite comfortably in first, but second was up for grabs as Porsche and BMW seemingly bumped and navigated back and forth through traffic, fighting for first on those final two laps.
Watch and see the result, as well as the intensity of driving through a 2.5 mile long course, with 58 cars all there, and having nothing to guide you through except war-torn headlights, adrenaline, and a desire to win.
