when whisky travels so far a dram can be very expensive. i was in a bar called malt fun in shanghai a few weeks ago where a dram of sb15 was 500 rmb or approx £50...
I guess the owner of that bar doesn't know the effect of direct light to a scotch , it looks nice and modern but they are diminishing the beautiful flavor of those amazing scotch bottles 😔😟😢
Agree - I’ve been to this bar and they do know their whisky and how to store it. Did you see the owner’s private bottle of Yamazaki 50 year? It used to be on display at the bar pre-Covid.

It is actually pretty dark inside. The camera compensated. Heavy tint on the glass so I think they are safe enough
