Great clip showing the Nova's surfing capability!.. Coming from using Surf boats for the past 7 years or so now, I bought a Nova for those rough days where I could express some playboaty moves from the early years!..I really wanted a Wavesport XXX of which are now impossible to find, after owning a few back in the day? The Nova fills that void..More comfortable than the XXX with the performance and forgiveness to match that a modern boat has to offer..so much more to learn from it..and it keeps giving..Cheers Matthew, great clips!
What weight are you you matey ? I’ve been demoing supernova which I’ve been loving specs say I could fit in , nova but demo version has big foam block in so my legs won’t fit . Find it so comfortable coming from a dagger medieval . Nice video
I've never paddled the Supernova, I'm afraid, but if it's anything like the Nova, it will surf really well. As to how it compares to the Ripper, they are such thoroughly different boats I don't think it's easy to draw comparison. One note I would make, though, is that the Nova is surprisingly fast along the wave (so much so that I'd hazard to suggest it is as fast as the Ripper).

I'm about 64kg, and more torso than leg! The foam block is easy to take out though, so worth a try.

What were the surf conditions (wave height etc)?
This was about shoulder-high on the surfers, so maybe 4-5ft. But the wind was fairly gusty onshore, so the steep passes were rare.
