Adam's favourite things about Keele

Hey guys, my name is Adam and I'm a 2nd Year Law Student. I recorded this vlog at the end of my first year and in it I talk about my experiences as a 'fresher' at Keele, as well as all certain aspects of this university in particular that I love.
Personally, when I think of Keele and when I'm asked to describe it to new, prospective students, the first thing which springs to mind is the notion of Keele being home. What I mean by this is that when you come here, when you liver here, when your grow here as a student, you realise how much you love this place. When you leave home in September, pack your backs and move out of the home you've been living in all your life, and leaving all the friendships you've built up from years at being at school to nothing, to a bare room with a mattress, to not knowing anyone, it's strange and, for some, very unsettling. Yet, at Keele, the transition period from leaving home to feeling like this was my home was relatively short simply because everyone was so friendly, so encouraging to get involve in the community, to having new experiences, to embrace being a 'Keelite'. So, I cannot even begin to explain how glad I am that I came here and with just two more years left I'm determined to enjoy every moment.
