I loved them dropping hints that there's something up with the planet's isolation: the weird references to the Great Work, references to just "The Republic" and not the New Republic, the Barrier, and the way they made a point of showing a close-up of the single New Republic Credit during the pirate raid, then showing the money on At-Attin clearly different. I mean, is the kid's lunch money strait up Old Republic Credits and that's what they're using as their daily currency?
Ugh. This guy again. Do you have NO life? I enjoyed this show immensely, but I think everyone has already stated the obvious: People are sick of you and you immature, edgelord comments and opinions. They start positive, and then turn into pathetic trolling EVERY time.
Yeah, what seems more far fetched is that the galaxy far, far away *only* has wretched hives of scum and villainy. Some of it has to be middle/upper middle class and above.
I fell in love with all the characters at once, which is half the battle. Love the sense of adventure and just plain fun and wonder! It really is like the Goonies in the Star Wars universe.
Interestingly, I find the 'suburbs' to be the most intriguing part. I'm always fascinated by the stuff we don't see - not everybody in Star Wars is a smuggler or rebel or Jedi or living on a ship. I'm always kind of fascinated by what the 'normal' people are doing in their day in and day out, especially when they're not on some really extreme planet like Tatooine or Coruscant. (In a way that's also what I liked about some of the scenes in Andor or even Book of Boba Fett, which did seem to show a little more of the 'every day' life on those planets.) Your comment at 8:24 cracked me up because my husband and I were in fact discussing who that kid reminded us of (he said young Kylo, I said Timothee Chalamet).
"Why are you here?" -- Jeanie "Drugs." -- Garth "I don't know why I'm here." -- Jeanie "So, why don't you go home?" -- Garth "Why don't you stick your thumb up your butt?" -- Jeanie Priceless dialogue.
Omg I just realised something. The under secretary and others talking about the Great work. Surely they've been cut off since the high Republic then and the time of the great works being created like starlight beacon
The dad is the lead singer of TV on the Radio, I live in Brooklyn and was wondering why the band had all of the shows recently. Show has been dope so far.
It’s so cool and awesome🤟🏻🤟🏻😁😁👏👏👏!! it’s like at attin is being controlled by Droids!! Safety droid's, bus droid, droid’s with search light eyes, thinking about the history of droids turning bad ( the phantom menace, Roger Roger + attack of the clones👈!) i have a bad feeling about droid control!! 😯!! + barrier and the great work speech by the school undersecretary aka Cool girl fern mother!! that’s got alarm bells written all over it!!⚠️⚠️🔥🔥🔥💜🖤💜🖤!! Very mysterious indeed!!
Only thing that I was curious about with this show, is that if this IS a lost High Republic world, would it not have some Jedi presence on it, it doesn't seem any dangerous place, but Jedi were peacekeepers, you would think at least a token Jedi presence would remain. Will probably be a bit of culture shock when they are introduced to the New Republic and what has happened since they were lost.
the number of Jedi supposedly always in the low ten thousands so most worlds would never see one. So a world which does not need Jedi would not get a visit from them
That’s not Kylo that’s Biff😆, hello guys👋🏻. The planet looks to be hidden from the rest of the galaxy, so I don’t think they would know about Luke or any of that.
@LatetotheParty the barrier surrounds the entire planet they can't see stars , no ship can land on the planet and ships are prevented from leaving. The droids say that the kids said that, and the credits are not new Republic , these people on the planet are using old Republic credits that shouldn't exist anymore, their home world has been walled off from the wars. The classroom scene hints at that.
@LatetotheParty I disagree because the planet being cut off from galaxy as whole and having all these credits and naivete of the children seems very important. Their home world is a pirate magnet. I think it important foreshadowing.
@@joegarza4869And once again, being that it is mentioned multiple times in 2 episodes (3 actually but we can't talk about that yet) it's not like we missed anything of massive importance. We will continue to enjoy the show the way we see fit.

FYI: SM-33 stands for Smee, Captain Hook's assistant.
What a *pure joy* to watch. I am already IN love with this show. The mystery about At Attin was completely unexpected to me but I am SO here for it
Gash
Sorry, I don’t speak edgelord

They had me at baby space elephant! 🥰 This looks so fun!! Just the winter pick me up we need! 😊
💯
Yes indeed!

the blind bandwagon acolyte haters cant see that lmfao
15:42 This is why I love you guys so much! *chef's kiss* I actually laughed out loud. Such a fun show; can't wait for this ride!
I just realized they were talking about KB Toys which is non-existent here in Asia. I had to google it.
This show is basically a Star Wars version of the 80s movie Explorers, which definitely isn't a bad thing!
Great reaction as always guys! Neel is already a favorite
You guys are the best!! I rewound multiple moments cause you are so funny and I just love how joyful you are. Great reaction 💜
When Fern and Wim are on detention reminds me of Ferris Buller when Jennie was in a similar situation with Charlie’s Garth😆
"Why are you here?" -- Jeanie
"Drugs." -- Garth
"I don't know why I'm here." -- Jeanie
"So, why don't you go home?" -- Garth
"Why don't you stick your thumb up your butt?" -- Jeanie
Priceless dialogue.
I wasn't sure what to think of this show going into it but I am SO keen after the first two episodes!!! I cannot wait for more
It's mutiny, then.

Obviously done on a budget - they're only working with a Skeleton Crew!

i can't wait to watch this in the morning. :D
Hope you two are having an great and awesome day ❤
SM33 is good old Smee
I think why they never see the stars is because there is a green big clouds on the sky every night. And they pointing that out very subtle actually.
That’s not Kylo that’s Biff😆, hello guys👋🏻. The planet looks to be hidden from the rest of the galaxy, so I don’t think they would know about Luke or any of that.
Thanks, Robert! Thanks, Vanessa! ✨💀✨ #SkeletonCrew
This reminds me of the goonies
Woohoo
I like it❤
I really hope it'll be good or to the trash heap with acolyte
Junk show copying off of successful shows.
You guys tend not to watch shows very closely or maybe that's just part of your theatrics.
@joegarza4869 In what way? Be specific. What important information did we miss by not watching closely?
@LatetotheParty the barrier surrounds the entire planet they can't see stars , no ship can land on the planet and ships are prevented from leaving. @joegarza4869 And this info is crucial to Episode 1 how? And most of this info you said is mentioned in Episode 2, not 1.
@LatetotheParty I disagree because the planet being cut off from galaxy as whole and having all these credits and naivete of the children seems very important. Their home world is a pirate magnet. I think it important foreshadowing.

"Star Trek Prodigy" rip-off.
Wish Disney would leave Star Wars alone this show is just as bad as all the rest. Still love your content and reaction tho guys
Hope you two are having an great and awesome day ❤
