Yeah could definitely tell this was your work like a minute in. Few quick feedback points: 00:47 Yor is looking left, then you hard cut to a shot of her looking the other way. Would have mirrored one of the shots to keep flow consistent. Also, it could by my imagination, but it almost feels like there is a 3rd shot for like 1-2 frames inbetween the transition? Also personally think you switched scenes a bit too fast around 00:36, but that could be personal taste. That aside, definitely loved this edit. Never watched the anime, but definitely could easily follow the story, which is like the ultimate test of storytelling. Definitely had it in my personal top 5, nice job! Also, Vaporeon is indeed... very huggable
