I've got a suggestion when you test the cell service. Create a scenario where a dog would get out of his GPS fence and see how long it takes the cellular to catch up and track.
Glad to hear the tractive which was the better of the two between the whistle. We would leave our fenced in zone for a walk and it might be halfway through the wall before it registers him outside of the zone which was at least 10 to 15 minutes. Yes tractive and whistle were very unreliable in my area.
I can't find anyone who's done this. All the smaller GPS trackers like tractive and whistle I'll have such long hand off times that it basically makes them useless for catching a dog who escapes.

It’s almost immediate on the gps dog fence collars these days.

Got the collar yesterday and did my training. Going to start on my dogs training today. Will see how that goes on a 4-year-old beagle.
I live where there is no cell service. Will Halo 2 or 3 work at all?
That’s a good question, and I’m not entirely sure. I would guess it would have reduced functionality at best.

Good to know! Some of our other videos for SpotOn and Halo show screen recordings of the escape notifications and tracking features when they escape.
Our Halo 3 Collar just shocked our dog while he was sitting on our couch inside. Please DO NOT ever use this!!
So sorry to hear!
