3rd upgrade and Hardmode are both good. Hardmode is very good for surviving if you use him right and has a basically instakill final attack while Classic has moves that guarantee damage if you use them correctly. Honestly, it's more based on the user's playstyle and Hardmode is basically a by product of destroying people with 3rd upgrade so Hardmode is more easy to grind anyways
First about HM the survivalist, literally the mosf character with knockback skill for have fear, since he blasters are extreme on dmg, the bone throw shoot blasters as well making hard to hit HM and survive same time, you can camp on the blaster attacks too, the force of phase 2 is extreme op since make some like 10 seconds for you regen you stamina, and you still have the blink that you can just use if theres too much charas around you, and the last is the final attack, is way harder than UT final attack, it does WAY more dmg if you just touch one of the bones, UT sans is just good bc of the ramdom blasters, map attack and the box attack, but is way worth grind for HM sans bc is easy and worth, not like extreme fell that cost 3500 exp and cant do almost nothing, just like waterfalll dust too he cost way more exp and still pretty close to eachother on power, even if dust do crazy dmg, HM is still pretty most op character on survivalist.
HM gets carried by the unavoidable final, but in terms of normal moveset 2nd and 3rd upgrade is truly cancerous due to the force being free to use and fast to recharge and is honestly much more busted than HM and even waterfall in some cases
in my opinion hm sans is worse than normal sans if it wasnt for the final attack i find myself surviving a lot longer and getting way more kills as normal sans, and i never got to his final attack when i used him because everybody died before then when i did get to hardmode, i kept being forced to my final attack yes i did win every time but having to rely on a final attack kinda kills characters for me maybe its just because the moves are so different but default sans is just better in my eyes
if the controls on the final attack worked on all types of sans like they should it wouldn't be so hard but sometimes it hits even tho is far away and is annoying
Hard mode's special attack isn't hard like literally just stay the left side until the white bone comes and if there is the orange then continue moving if blue comes afterwards then try to move in orange and then wait for the blue bone and also try to focus on the white bone and that's how you survive hard mode the character is bad if people know how to avoid the 3 spin bones.
UUT understood how to make Sans progressively get harder every upgrade whilst being unique so that's why they had a good Hardmode Sans ULC starts Sans off in the corridor, not a good decision for power scaling in the slightest
I mean, pacifist and classic in ULC are vastly different, making sans an evo character isn’t a good idea imo. The corridor sans in ULC does get progressively harder too with stamina salvage and extra stamina, as well as the phase 2 buffs
Yeah but pacifist and neutral sans progressions sucked ass in that game, kills were rare, let alone wins even with all the gold upgrades for each. Even new players were able to beat fully upgraded pacifist easily by themselves, it’s way too weak. You had to basically pray for afks or farmers to get any exp at all. That’s why that game’s dead as hell now, because that power scaling was so wildly all over the place that it became too unfriendly towards beginners despite being unique. Meanwhile ULC is still up and running just fine because it actually gives new players a chance to win on their own early on, making it much more fun to keep playing.
@@BlueSoulGamer Most players that played UUT actually sucked at the game, leveling up the pacifist characters in low and medium win servers was the best strategy for ensuring that you could progress, and the thing is it was really easy. Once you got the Neutral form of any character you could win any round with players from 20-60 HP and the fact that it only took LV 7 to get that basically tells me you and many others were only using Papyrus in low wins. ULC had more exposure so of course it's still around but the creator of UUT was tired of working on the game so that's what really killed it.
I am an og ULC player and I'll be the first to tell you that if you cannot kill players with a faster damage source when they have a fraction of the HP of a ULC chara then you're just goofy and should probably be playing UJD instead of ULC
Honestly sans gets countered pretty easily by helptale chara its hard to win as hm since final atack depends more on kr and helptake chara resistance drains kr alway but normal sans has more chances aswell being more fun to use than hm
for 1 and 2 phase yea more cool 3 upgrade sans but hard mode sans more cool because his final attack very op and this 3 spin bone 100% gonna deal dmg to chara team
I remember surviving hard mode sans's final attack before. It isn't really hard ro avoid. Its just the fact most people tend to freak out by the sudden attack pattern. Or lag screws you over as well.
